NFL Power Rankings, week 4: Rams moving up the bottom third
What a difference a win makes. The St. Louis Rams, long vacillating between the coveted 31st and 32rd spots on NFL power rankings, have jumped a full caste in the power rankings.
Spagnuolo's Rams have been placed as high as 22nd...on the power rankings I bothered to look at this week. Overall, they rank a bit lower than that, at least in terms of the aggregate power rankings, but a move up is a move up.
- SBN has the Rams at #28.
- ESPN puts them at #27, with Sando and John Clayton putting them at #26.
- At NFL.com, the panel of experts ranges from #22 to #29. Gil Brandt, an established Sam Bradford fan, has them at #22 and Pat Kirwan puts them at #23.

As far as ESPN is concerned
I believe this is the highest the Rams have been since Week 10 of 2008.

Feels good to have breathing room...
…between us and the bottom of the pack. Hopefully another win this week will get us into the teens. How long has it been since we were that high?
Hogs now wish they had Bradford, more than a dozen posts on this.
Good to see you live by my motto…while we bringing up the past…….9 months ago, we went back and forth about Bradford, if he’s there…..Like I said, he would have been worth it…..

Yep, you were right. Bradford is legit. He looked better on Sunday than any rookie QB I’ve seen in a long, long time. I can’t remember the last rookie to make the checks and reads he was doing. Not even Matt Ryan or Big Ben. He’s the real deal.

Yeah, Bradford would have been good, but there are 2 big holes in your prediction swiss cheese
1. how much would it have cost us to move up to get Bradford? Probably our 1st, then next years 1st and second since we didn’t have a second or third from last year. Even though having a young franchise QB like that would have been nice, we have too many holes to address to only be able to address them with later round picks.
2. Bradford would have been killed already in the first 3 games because we wouldn’t have been able to draft Trent Williams to protect him. Anybody remember back 9 months ago and how bad our OLine was? Ooh, I Do, I Do!!!

Fox sports has them at 24..
….which I think is much more accurate ranking. Espn I never think are that good…like right now, they have the Superbowl Champs at #2 and the colts at #3
