Third quarter game thread: Rams vs Washington

After a great first half, it was the same old Rams in the second half.

How will they respond? Steven Jackson's status is unknown, and they could be without him in the second half. Will they battle? OR will it look like third quarters have looked all season, even with Jackson on the field?

Stay tuned.

ok boys

on a positive note i just watched us drive down the field without sj and darby got positive yards from shurmers good playcalling

now the negative… the god damn freaking refs just screwed us….SCREWED US…. fendi was being held like a god damn new born and they did nothing…. hey NLF ….DO YOU HAVE ANY FUCKING DECENT REFS>?

Thanks guys …. i needed to vent…. i am going to get a drink now and i don’t really ever drink… it should help

Captain, there are doubt's...

by Match Day 5 on Sep 26, 2010 4:55 PM CDT reply actions

A quasi-smart play though...

if he doesn’t do that, it’s a TD. So now they have a chance, and the penalty only added 4 yards.

Wow

We’re going to get smashed this half. Where is the coverage? Come on

by weezul12 on Sep 26, 2010 4:59 PM CDT reply actions

I'll take it

We really need to stop the burn with a nice long TD drive… Like the one the refs took away right before halftime.

by PMack1982 on Sep 26, 2010 4:59 PM CDT reply actions

sister in law just texted from game

said the fan’s are so irate over no call at end of second that they were booing the refs when they came back out… in unison

Stop complaining about the officiating. That’s a loser mentality,

by 81 Witness on Sep 26, 2010 5:00 PM CDT reply actions

i'll stop complaining about the officiating

when others stop compaining about loosing when there is still a half of play left

by stlfan2004 on Sep 26, 2010 5:01 PM CDT up reply actions

I'm not complaining, I'm being cynical about it

And while I agree that if you play better you don’t need calls to go your way, we have all seen where poor decisions by refs do affect the outcome of the game.

New thread

Everything you write from here on out can be considered a jinx. Here is where you are needed.

You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.
