Remember our game against the Skins last year?
Their own fans booed them off the field. Even though they beat us 9-7, it was an ugly win for them. They replaced Jason Campbell with Donovan McNabb. They lost Ladell Betts, Chris Samuels, Fred Smoot, Randy Thomas and Cornelius Griffin and brought in Adam Carriker, Willie Parker, Larry Johnson and Phillip Buchanon. They seem like an older team to me. Top draft pick Trent Williams is already hurt, Albert Haynesworth's injury has made him a non-factor so far this year and there are no other impact rookies to worry about. The Skins have only gained 107 yards on the ground and their defense has given up more yards and first downs then any other defense in the league. Here is a link that discusses all that. Are the Redskins really a better team from last year? The Rams 2010 roster, in my opinion is definetely better than last years.
I think we can compete! As bad as our first two games turned out, we still competed. We have to put those losses behind us, limit the penalties, take advantage of turnovers and hope that we learned something from those losses and stay positive!
Tie for first place in the NFC West, here we come!

Oh, and to top it all off...
…the Redskins just cut Larry Johnson!

I guess he had a problem with running TOWARDS the goal line!
You also forgot
To mention Shanahan too. Big change when you’ve had a coach with a good track record in the NFL.
Thanks for the recurring memory NachoD
Here I was progressing in my therapy getting over that game from last season. I think a large part of the loss was to blame on Passes Short Shurmur.
I know what we saw in preseason games 1 & 2 from Bradford compared to when the playbook opened up in 3&4. I expect to see more of 3&4.
Also as another reminder, we got spanked in the second half of the preseason too with the exception of Cleveland. But i think they are actually worse than the Rams on paper.
lol...."Passes Short Shurmur"
is that his given indian name?
He Who Dinks And Dunks Alot
Dances With Passes
He Who Doesn’t Stretch
You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.

Are they better than last year?
I don’t know. But Mike Shanahan is a good coach. Donovan McNabb is a definite upgrade over Campbell, even if his skills are declining somewhat. I think they’re better. So are we. Whoever gets the breaks will win. I hope the Rams sell out the dome so it’s on tv in StL.
