Game Thread, Rams vs Baltimore, preseason week 4

Baltimore Ravens at St. Louis Rams, Sep 2, 2010 7:00 PM CDT

Rams_logo_small_mediumRavens_logo__reverse__medium

The St. Louis Rams wrap up their preseason tonight with several questions left to be answered, not the least of which is whether or not Sam Bradford will be the starting quarterback in week 1.

Cut down day is Saturday, and the Rams will have to trim their roster from 75 to 53 players by that deadline. After that, they'll get their practice squad rounded out and probably make a few more tweaks before the season opener against the Cardinals on Sep. 12. Tonight's game will have a lot to say about which 53 players find themselves on the final roster.

3k has the game preview here, and Rams S Kevin Payne shared his thoughts on the game.

It may still be the preseason, but it's worth repeating...

GO RAMS!!

finally

at home for some live Rams action

You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.

Starting WRs tonight

According to Rotoworld, Keenan Burton and Amendola start tonight.

Really???

For this final preseason game here is...

…My wishlist: I hope to see Thaddeus Lewis, Fendi Onobun, and Marquis Johnson play well enough to make the roster!!
Why you may ask?
Thad: Mobile and not terrible.( Scrambled for 9 yards and a near first down and later on that drive hit Gibson with a 20 yard TD pass)
OhNo: Huge and fast with soft hands.(Use him like an extra WR)
Marquis: He was fearless in helping to slow Peyton “Dump Truck” Hilis and had a nice one on one open field tackle on Hillis.

Go Rams!

Prospect plug

If you happen to have some college football on before or after the Rams’ game, stop by the TST college football open thread. ESPECIALLY if you’re watching Marshall-Ohio St. or Miami-Florida A&M. Pitt-Utah kicks off at 8:00pm too on Versus, if you’ve got it.

Okay

Look, I’m really getting sick of “I NEED A STREAM” comments. I know I don’t comment much on this blog, but I know that prety much on every one of the SBN blogs, it’s extremely taboo to ask for illegal streams of games. This isn’t really directed at you, but more to everyone who continues to demand such links.
I understand everyone wants to watch the game, and so do I; but have some respect for everyone and try to keep these kinds of comments off this blog. They are degrading and the integrity of TST goes down the drain every time these kind of comments appear. Thanks

I'm not trolling, just being sarcastic.

Last thing I'm saying about streams for now

If you have streamtorrent, here is a link for the game: http://www.myp2pforum.eu/threads/44623-Streaming-2010-NFL-Pre-Season-Week-4 Look for “Baltimore Ravens at St. Louis Rams”. It’s a little laggy, but is working good. It’s the Ravens’ broadcast.

If not, you can try downloading it at the above site (the download link is at the bottom of the first post in the thread), then clicking the ST link.

not to mention he still did great against the patriots

I’m very excited about Bradford this season. I already consider him the best qb in the nfc west.

That is the thing that totally took me off guard

Its unfortunate that mcrae dropped that

I just hate to think that one play seals his fate… Sjax isn’t always perfect and I’d like to see mcrae make up for that

Yes.

Negativity would be allowed this once.

I used to upload the NCAA Football '09 and '10 rosters into Madden and always drafted Sam Bradford onto the Rams in Franchise Mode...I liked him before he was cool =)

we have a sally team with a lot to prove. Our OC is a douche and can’t call a play for a PEE WEE team. Calm down everyone"

alright for those watching the game

toston or darby? other than darby’s 29 yarder it doesn’t seem he did too well but toston appears to have some consistency going.

new game thread

You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.
