The predictions game: TE Michael Hoomanawanui
Let's pick up the pace on these player projections, and see just how much optimism infects St. Louis Rams fans.
Michael Hoomanawanui looks to have played his way into the starting TE role with a stellar preseason. Illinois Mike, or whatever you prefer to call him, leads all Rams receivers in preseason play with 8 catches for 112 yards and 2 TD.
One more solid outing tonight and he should have the top spot locked up for the season. Of course, it'll be telling to see how many snaps he plays. If it's just the first 15 with the starters, you can bank on where his name will be listed on the depth chart.
Alright, on with the predictions. Let's have his receptions, yards and TDs for the 2010 season in the comments below.
We'll gather these projections up and take a look at them next week.

4 catches, 32 y and 1 td. He won’t play the second half. They don’t need to see what he can do at this point, they’ll throw more to those that needs to make an impression. I’m more looking forward to see what can Morris and Onubun can do. I would also like to see if Gilyard can catch and what he can do with in space. I would also like to see Onubun in the slot we need tall receiver in the red zone.
Does anybody knows if Alexander will play tonight, I’m looking forward to see him on the field.
my prediction
47 receptions – 503 yards – 3 TD

37 Receptions, 416 Yards, 6 TD's
Sam Bradford drops back, sees Laurent Robinson in the open, and he completes the pass for a gain of 28! Oh- Wait, looks like a holding penalty is going to call this one back...(Oh wait; Barron's gone, ignore that last sentence).
38 rec., 341 yds., 4 TDs
You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.
12 receptions, 134 yards, 2 TDs.
Gets injured in the first quarter Week 3 vs. Redskins, out for the year. That’s how things tend to go for the Rams.
I was going to post something like this.
No need to duplicate

It is still pre-season last I checked
….and Rams were 3-1 last pre-season. Still feels good though for being a Rams fan right?
Anyhow, since we are making choices about players during PRE-SEASON,

uh-oh's season?
After watching him play tonight I’d venture 45- 525 to 550 yards that’s about 12 yards per catch. Not an unreasonable set of stats.
