Albert Haynesworth? Randy Moss anyone?
Albert Haynesworth:
Now before I get bashed for even posting this on here, please note that I know its highly unrealistic because I don't feel we have the stuff to trade him, and I don't even think we run the type of defense he prefers. BUT... We do have defensive tackles to spare but other than that we don't really have much to offer in a trade. But how the hell does Washington think they can get a lot out of him, when they prove they can win without him? Put him in the damn game, play him. I feel sorry for the guy, he wants to play and he has a problem that a lot of players don't have that he has to deal with. But he wants to play, and you can tell. Just watch the game against The Cowboys. I mean think about... James Hall(Should be Selvie) ,Fred Robbins, Albert Haynesworth, Chris Long would be a hell of a defensive line..
Randy Moss:
Randy Moss..... Yeah I'm sure I'll get bashed for this one.. BUT, I'm just throwing this out there. I don't think anyone has ever thought of him as a St. Louis Ram. But I keep hearing he wants to play, he's a veteran, and he clearly doesn't believe he'll be a Patriot next year. Now I doubt we have enough to trade for him, but I think it'd be a neat addition for Sam Bradford in his second year. But I wouldn't be sad if we didn't go for this one, but hey it doesn't hurt to mention something about it. If he does end up a St. Louis Ram I'll laugh. Hell I played Madden before James Laurinaitis was even in the pros and I was so high on him, that I drafted him everytime I had a chance in my Import Draft Class from NCAA Football. And a few years later he actually was drafted by the Rams. So thats why I'd laugh if Randy Moss ended up a St. Louis Ram next year.
Trade possibilities: James Hall, James Butler, Fred Onobun, Daniel Fells, a cornerback from our team. We still have Marquis Johnson on the practice squad. Who played for Alabama, why isn't he on our normal roster? lol
(I doubt any of this would happen, but just a random thought I felt I could share with everyone.)

With injuries
It would have to be Randy Moss. Maybe a CB and a 3rd round pick. Say King and a 3rd rounder for Moss.
I dunno...
…if NE would part with Moss. They’re about winning super bowls, not getting something for something so they don’t lose him for nothing. I just don’t see them giving up Moss. He’s too damn good, and they have NOTHING to replace him with. Wes Welker? Wes Welker Jr.? Theyr’e not the deep threat the Moss is…no way they’ll give him up.
With that said, I’d give up a 3rd rounder for him. I wouldn’t give up a #2 for him only because of his age. We need a #1 WR in the WORST WAY!!!
Does this make Vincent Jackson rumors heat up again?

Not sure the rumor mill starts to turn again
but it re-heated my desire for the FO to target Vincent Jackson, or someone else of his ilk, to be an experienced, big, deep threat.
With April 2011 and AJ Green/Jonathon Baldwin/Julius Jones seemingly a long, long way away right now, I’d love to cut a corner or two and go for the win now. Trading is probably the wrong thing to do and we should probably persevere through the draft, but being so close to being good (having been so bad for so many years) it’s hard to remain patient.
Can't say that I agree...
Moss is on his last year of his agreement. He will be looking for a new contract after this year. I am not willing to give up much to rent a guy for a year. Especially since we are not in a position to make a Super Bowl run.
How much could we have used Moss...
…yesterday? A ton…we could’ve beat the NFC West champs yesterday if we’d have had a WR like Moss. AJ Green anyone?

Sorry guy, no matter how close we were on Sunday
I will not change my mind on this. I do not think we need to give up quality picks/players for a WR that we only have for one year…this year. Randy Moss is an amazing player (when in the right situation), but when he was with a team that gave him no chance of winning (Oakland) he didn’t put the effort forward. If the play was not designed for him he would incompletely run routes. I don’t think that in the stage we are in that Moss is a good fit for us or vice versa.
On that note, I’d love to have Jonathon Baldwin in next years draft.
Remember this is a marathon not a sprint
True about the marathon...
…and I wouldn’t want to give up our 2nd rounder next year for one year’s worth of Moss…or one year’s worth of anyone. That’s not what I meant. But if we signed him for 4+ years then I would give up that pick for Moss in a heartbeat.

eh?
why would the rams have any interest in either of those moves? let’s face it, the rams are not going to be contenders this season. they are in re-building mode, which is done through the draft. using future picks on: a) a $100 million player who took weeks to pass a simple conditioning test, or b) a player who is aging and will likely be a free-agent next season anyway, would be moves that would prove to be the anti-thesis to rebuilding.
between the 2
I’d go with Moss.
Albert has a big price tag, and seems to be a little bitch.
"Twin-headed infinite swirling vortex of grotesque suckitude known as Tony Clark and Eric Byrnes"
always go for moss.
our dline is nice, and haynesworth has too big a contract to eat up.
moss would be a downfield target for sam, reliable hands and straight up playmaker. i can imagine we get him.
then imagine drafting AJ Green and having avery/gilyard/danny in the slot, robinson and clayton alternating outside.
ridiculous wr corps.
i’m not really against haynesworth, i think he’d been hard done by by the redskins organisation and the media, but I’d rather have Moss, most of our issues are still offensive and Dline is becoming a strength…
Bradford to Onobun!
Haynesworth?? Ummm no

not sure how you can feel bad for haynesworth
he got $100 million contract and decided to be lazy… i really don’t give a shit if they switched defenses, he should do whatever they say with $100 million
totally agree
I think what these players do after being handed the fat contract says soooo much about character…. and he has acted like a complete a$% ever since
Why trade for Moss now when he'll be on the free agent market after the season?
A target like Moss would be great for Sam Bradford. As a Cardinals fan it’s not anything I want my defense to face. That said, any move that brings up the quality of the division is good.
Moss has never been happy anywhere besides new england
This is first time moss has got into it with Bilichick, he used to complain about the raiders and vikings weekly. I just dont see him being on a team that doesnt score 30+ points regularly.
