Random Ramsdom: 9/13/2010
OVERREACTION MONDAY! Not from me. I was impressed with the Rams yesterday. They fought hard, and almost came out with a win from a tough divisional rival (not to mention a team that went to the Superbowl a few years ago, regardless of Kurt Warner's retirement status). If you're looking for an overreaction, perhaps you would best go to a Cowboys website, where former Ram Alex Barron lost the game for them with his beautiful bear-hug blocking that would make even Flozell Adams blush. But enough of that, onto the links!
- Let's start it off with the first of many recaps. This one is from Ramsherd.
- This next recap is from Ramsgab.
- Sando has his rapid reaction, along with a piece on Sam Bradford and the general swing of things in the NFC West.
- Jim Thomas thinks the Rams got an old result with the loss. Yes, the Rams have dropped quite a few games, but they sure gave it their best shot yesterday.
- A good piece on the hope that Rams fans have for this season and the future. Why? #8.
That's it for now, but I'm sure this place will be buzzing in the post game glory that is Monday.
Go Rams! Lets get the first W next week against the Raiders, please!

A little insight as to why Anderson looked alot better in the second half.
this is from official sight.
Cornerbacks Kevin Dockery and Justin King suffered hamstring injuries in the second half that severely limited what the Rams were able to do in coverage.
In adjusting to those injuries, the Rams had to use safety James Butler and others to try to slow down the deep Arizona receiving corps.
"It’s certainly hard to play four quality wideouts without your corners. You spend all week long playing four corners against four wideouts and then you don’t have them. It changes a little bit."
I hate to say it....
but ram rod is right after reading the cowboys blog I feel a little better. Sucks to be a Cowboy fan today for sure.
Ooooof.
Can’t imagine what I would’ve felt/done if that had been Bradford hitting Clayton for an identical game-winning pass, only to have it overturned. I feel for my Lions homies, even though the sympathy doesn’t ease their pain.
Indeed
You know, somewhere in Chicago there’s a displaced Lions fan who’s gonna go to work and just lose it when their Bear’s fan coworker tries to gloat about the win.

Why??????
didn’t we trade Alex within the division!!!! He could have won us sooooo many games!
you give bartell too much credit (ramsherd)
he was burned more than a few times, but godawful passes from derek anderson prevented larry from being… larry…
Bartell was not supposed to be covering Fitzgerald
on the TD pass. The Rams were playing zone and a safety was supposed to have that deep corner, not Bartell. Coach Hannifan explained it on the post-game show. Bartell was not playing man coverage on Fitz all game, even though it often looked like it. You can’t blame him for every time Fitz got open. I thought he did a heck of a job covering him when he did have man responsibility.
Yello Barron Strikes again
I love how Alex was laughing at the end of the game, good luck dump truck.
