Madden 11 predicts a Rams win

Madden 11 predictions give the St. Louis Rams a week 1 win over the Arizona Cardinals. They'll have to do it without Bobby Carpenter since he was a roster cut last week.

Predictions at this point in the season aren't much more than educated guesses, but the fine folks at EA Sports are out with their, um, computer models for week 1, i.e. Madden 11.

Fans will delight in knowing that they predict the St. Louis Rams to beat the Cardinals 21-17.

Sounds reasonable to me. The only problem I have with their prediction...Bobby Carpenter was cut last weekend and therefore will not be making an interception.

I hope Carp wasn't cut too soon.

From what I saw in pre-season he looked pretty good. Hard to believe we’d keep slug Barron for 5 years and then immediately discard his replacement. Carp hadda be better than the departed Paris Lenon. Diggs is no youngster and Vobora is pretty much no nuthin’. Sometimes I can’t figure the Spagnulosaurus out….

Hey, I am going with it...

I thought 1st pick Bradford over Suh and laurinaitus over what I thought were much better linebackers….I was convinced Spags was out of his mind. I will therefore finish up the rest of my crow and know Ram scouting is in good hands.

+1 ramchop

I really thought he was coming along. The whole point of getting him was that he had been stuck in a 3-4 defense and was supposed to come in and fit alot more naturally in a 4-3. I thought he was progressing in a way that showed that thinking was right. He would have at least been a really solid depth guy

84 speed?? WAY low..

He has to be one of the fastest TE’s in the league right now

He should be an 87 speed!!!

Fendi’s 40-time was around 4.5s which is not as fast as Vernon Davis (he is the fastest TE at a 90speed running the 40-time in 4.38s), but Greg Olsen also ran the 40 at around 4.5s (which Olsen is the second fastest TE at 87speed) therefore Fendi got robbed 3 speed points.

84 speed thats a JOKE

the madden guys obviously didnt him burn everyone on the field down the sidelines on that play he was robbed of a TD

what's his "potential"

A? B?

Sam Bradford drops back, sees Laurent Robinson in the open, and he completes the pass for a gain of 28! Oh- Wait, looks like a holding penalty is going to call this one back...(Oh wait; Barron's gone, ignore that last sentence).

2 games short of the playoffs

the Rams will go 8-8 this year behind the 49ers who will be 10-6

Madden

just curious on how they figure out how the scores are going to be because i don’t think New England is gonna score 41 point too early for those kind of games

madden ratings are always BS

but i find it funny that most everyone’s predictions on here are fairly similar to the madden simulation.

I'm not really sure

because I could easily see anywhere from 3-8 being fairly reasonable, 8 might be a bit of a reach but that’s homer optimism there. judging by the rest of the division though, we should at least be able to split 3-3, so I’m going to guess around 5 wins, 6 if we get a break.
