Random Ramsdom: 8/9/2010

Did anyone watch the Hall of Fame game last night? Didn't think so. I think it'd would be better to televise half of the game. That way, you'd get to see the starters go out for a quarter or two, and you'd also get to catch the rookies and others who are trying to make a name for themselves, but you wouldn't be stuck with that extra hour or two that seems to drag you down into wanting the actual season that much more.

Regardless of what you think of Terrell Owens (or Chad Ocho-Johnson-Cinco, for that matter), I sure wish we had a Batman and Robin on our team.
Ramsherd has some nice photos of the Lindenwood scrimmage. Hopefully this team can find some mojo during the preseason. I'm also glad they actually PASSED the football, bringing the Rams back into the 21st century in the process.
Ramsgab has some reactions (a Ramsgabbery, if you will) of the scrimmage. That was really the best I could come up with.
Mike Sando agrees that Bradford is definitely gaining momentum and all eyes are on next week's preseason opener. Don't give us false hope Samchise...
Kevin Dockery (remember that guy?) hopes to make an impact on the team. Seeing how the secondary has been filled with injuries and average play at best, I'm sure he has a chance to do just that.

I totally agree...

Barron blinked and later saw Odom getting close personal time with the QB. Though I’m still leery about the team getting rid of him so quickly (before Saffold can prove himself), it was nice to seeing yesterday why the team actually did. That could have easily been our franchise QB running for his life had Barron been here. And Cowboys fans haven’t even seen the worse of it yet. Just wait until they’re in the redzone with a chance to tie the Redskins in week 1 and Barron kills the drive because of one of his patented false start penalties. Barron will be a street FA by week 8, with Jerry Jones running the show.

it was a boring game.

i was doing other things but kept the game on, which i’m glad because i caught jordan shipley’s awesome punt return in that final minutes. sad that that was the highlight and it wasn’t even a td. i can’t WAIT to see how sam does against the vikings. preseason or not, it’s a damn good test for him!

i really grw to appreciate Keith Null and AJ Feely… I don’t care what anyone says, they look like Tom Brady next to Jordan Palmer… I guess our QB situation isn’t too bad eh?

After the starters left the game was unbearable. I watched the first quarter.

In our game against Minn.

The starters probably can’t get off the field fast enough for us as I believe we all want to see Sam in action.

As a side note, NFL network will “replay” our game at 7pm pacific time, Sunday Aug 15th. So if you are like me, I already have it queued up to record.

It's on locally on NBC or Fox I think

We get "stuck" with 9er and Raider games here.

So unless one has Sunday ticket for regular season games, got to “wait” for replays during season with the exception of the 3 games this year (2 9er games & 1 Raider game).
