In the season of roster cut-downs. I wanted to have a tool to get a good view of what the roster would look like and what the depth chart would look like. I used the official depth chart and made a document that would give me a few totals along with the chart.
Here are my predictions (Working on trying to imbed this document. Tips would be great.)
Here are some thoughts about a few of my selections:
Recievers: I think that Burton and Gibson are the toss-up recievers to make the team. McRae just hasn't been healthy enough and we haven't even seen Alexander in a game yet. I think Alexander passed through enough training camp that he'll also pass through waivers to the practice squad. However, that does leave him vulnerable to signing with another team.
QB: I really want to be done with Null, but the coaches seem to be more comfortable with him over Lewis.
TE: I dream of the day when St. Louis makes novelty shirts with "Double Tight" of Oh-Oh and Fendi so I think the often-injured Fells doesn't make the roster. Fells was never good as an H-back and Bajema has more flexibility.
RB: Silent G has had a horrible pre-season and Toston has looked great in his play. This may be more my wants that what's going to happen.
Defense: I'm not very good a judging the defense so I went with the names I recognized. I use the Practice squad players as kind of a toss-up. I think Hull has a good chance to make the roster but I didn't know who to eliminate to make room for him.
Special Teams: Unless something major happens in this fourth game, I have Curry and Chamberlin as Special Teams players because they stood out. Kent and Curry are about the same special teams player. I think Curry has more upside/potential.
So what do you think?
