Steven Jackson is just awesome.
In the past few years, he’s really evolved into a great leader on the team. I don’t that could be said about him after 2005. He’s a team player, he fights for every yard, he’s truly amazing. It’s good to hear that he’s back from the surgery. He said it was fine, but I’d wondered if it were really true.
"I turn around and I’ve got Cueto kicking me in the back with his spikes. It’s super unprofessional. I don’t know where he learned how to fight."
-Chris Carpenter commenting on a bench-clearing fight with the Reds, 8/10/10
A beast
in a mans body.
"There's no doubt in my mind that he will lead this team. He has to play and he has to get a feel and make this offense his own offense, and that takes time. Whenever that does happen, it's full speed ahead." - Atogwe on Sam
Trade Mike Martz and Chester Taylor for Pat Shurmur and Kenneth Darby!
I wish I was Steven Jackson
Sam Bradford drops back, sees Laurent Robinson in the open, and he completes the pass for a gain of 28! Oh- Wait, looks like a holding penalty is going to call this one back...(Oh wait; Barron's gone, ignore that last sentence).
I was told that "Jackson wasn't any good because yall's O-Line sucked last year".
So, I replied with, “Are you stupid? He was the #2 back in the league last year.” Then I felt obligated to look up the stats in front of him. 1416 yards later, he corrected his previous statement.
we already knew he was a beast!
now i think we can say he’s “The Beast”
