Alright everybody! I can' t get this off of my mind. After last nights game, one thing sticks out for me. We desperately need to sign someone else at running back. When we had a the running game as a threat (during those 10 plays SJ was in for), it opened up a whole new world for our offense. As soon as he was out, we were stalled. So I took a quick look just to see who was on the market. There was one person perked my interest. Kolby Smith was cut from the Bronco's earlier this month. One thing that stood out about his style is that he has excellent vision for seeing holes and taking advantage of them. The reoccurring theme I saw in the game last night was that our offense actually was creating holes. No one was exploiting them. We need someone who doesn't let those holes go to waist. Could this guy be the answer? What do you guys think? Does anyone see another running back up for the taking that makes sense? Here is a link to a Seattle write up looking at him. Darn Seahawks! They probably already have the inside track.
