Danario Alexander still a possibility for the Rams
You might have been caught up in the excitement of training camp and forgot that former Mizzou WR Danario Alexander visited the St. Louis Rams today. And how did that visit go?
Here's Alexander's take on it:
The visit was great!! We are definitely going to keep in contact
The Rams were said to be interested in Alexander based on the results of further medical evaluation. He had knee surgery in February, but has since been cleared to practice.

So whats taking so long to sign him? He totally contrast what we already have on this roster at wideout. He’s a tall big receiver that can catch the balls in traffic. He’s already demonstrated his blazing speed, contrary to scouting reports, and the fact that he caught over a 110 ball for 1700+ yds and 11 TDs last season says enough. He wants to play for a team where he’ll have a shot at playing, hence his reason for visiting the Rams and Seahags. Based off of last years results its better to have too many receivers than too few.
just sign the dude already
"Twin-headed infinite swirling vortex of grotesque suckitude known as Tony Clark and Eric Byrnes"
Definitely. Can't let this opportunity pass by.
If you give a man a fish and he'll stink up the whole town. However, give a man a fishing rod and he'll poke your eye out.
yeah screw the seahawks
werent they suppose to have such an amazing group of receivers entering last season? yet all ive heard this past year for every receiver on the market is that seattle is interested. stay in MO in danario!
Good News?
The lack of media attention (outside of Missouri) on DX is surprising.
I just visited the Seahawks sight on SB nation “The Field Gulls” and no word about his impending visit there?
KC mentioned no interest in him and then sign a WR.
Not living in the area, I do not follow Mizzou football so got a little curious on his skill set. I have seen his stats, size, etc and he does appear to be an ideal type receiver (bigger than TO!) so I looked him up on youtube and found some footage on him.
The 1st thing that impressed me was his YAC and how quickly he got away from the 2ndary (admittedly, not NFL caliber) but just the same. The 2nd thing that impressed was the catching in traffic (when he was in traffic as he appeared to have been wide open in most of the highlights).
Could be an interesting prospect for us as he has the size to be a #1 sometime down the road.
