How To Watch The Rams Vs Vikings

EARTH CITY MO - JULY 31: Sam Bradford #8 of the St. Louis Rams addresses the media during training camp at the Russell Athletic Training Facility on July 31 2010 in Earth City Missouri. (Photo by Dilip Vishwanat/Getty Images)

Sadly the networks don't think that the St. Louis Rams and Minnesota Vikings game will net good viewer ratings.  So us Ram fans are again left in the cold again. I know that everyone is wanting to watch Sam Bradford and the Rams so here are two options, sorry but none of these options include watching it live.

This one is for those of you who live in St. Louis. The game will be televised locally by KTVI (Channel 2), starting at 10:30 p.m. and again at 2 p.m. Sunday.

For those like myself who don't live in St.Louis. We will have to wait until Sunday to watch Sam Bradford's debut. If you have NFL Network you will be able to see the game August 16 at 11:00PM eastern time.

Now for those of you who really want to see all the Ram preseason games live, and all the other teams here's the last option this one isn't free however. https://preseason.nfl.com/nflpl/secure/registerform?icampaign=HP_PL_ChapterImage&module=HP_cp2

If anyone has anymore ways to watch the game feel free to add a comment.

absolutely no one

Absolutely no one here would watch the game on free internet streams that exist in the legal gray area… absolutely no one.

heres a few ways...

myp2p.eu, justin.tv, channelsurfing.net

mmm thats all i can think of right now.

by Buck Nasty87 on Aug 10, 2010 8:07 PM CDT reply actions

oh and that preseason thing on nfl.com...do they have anything like that for the regular season?

like where you can watch the games online legally for a nominal fee? as far as i know the only option is to buy direct tv’s nfl ticket and super fan.

by Buck Nasty87 on Aug 10, 2010 8:10 PM CDT reply actions

DirecTV Did away with superfan

now it’s called “to-go” for like $40 (9.99 mnth for 4 months).. problem is I believe you have to get sunday ticket too..

Speaking of which, I wonder if pre-season is included with sunday ticket… used to be.

I should have been more clear sorry

Superfan technically still exists, it’s just part of sunday ticket now… redzone, hd, all that is included… but superfan is no more.

The ad on is now called “to-go” where you can watch games on PC and mobile devices and around $40 a year.

is the add on part of Sunday Ticket as well?

I’d love for the NFL to move to something like baseball does (except for the stupid blackouts they put on local games) but that revenue contract is a whole different ball game…no pun intended.

Yes..

There is NFL Sunday ticket basic package (they are now adding all the superfan features free and eliminating the name)

and the ad-on is called “To-Go” with Mobile and PC based access.

The caveat is you have to subscribe to Sunday Ticket

.. you can’t just order the “To-Go” package which I think stinks… 90% of the time I watch here on my PC.. I have 2 monitors and watch the game on one, and listen to Ed piss and moan in the game thread on the other (j/k Ed)

good news/bad news

good news for Direct TV subscribers, bad news for everyone else.

Sunday Ticket prices are highway robbery however. Down with monopolies!

Discount on NFL Sunday Ticket

I agree with you guys… NFL Sunday Ticket prices are getting ridiculous. I still get it because it is the only way I can watch the Rams from Los Angeles; however, there is a nice way of getting a good discount if you are a current customer. Call DirecTV and tell them the truth… that you are tired of DirecTV increasing the prices of the NFL Sunday Ticket, that you have been a loyal subscriber, etc. and tell them you are thinking about unsubscribing. Ask for their Retention department, tell them the same thing in a nice way… The entire call took 10 minutes and a got $120 off of the NFL Sunday ticket and free HD for a year. They told me that they are doing that for loyal customers. Hope it helps!

Also

If I order the $39 pre-season thing from nfl.com how do I know all the rams games will be there? 16 games x 4 weeks = 64 games

Just called NFL FYI

.. only games not included are nationally broadcast games so basically if you order, you are guaranteed to see every rams pre-season game (even if one were nationally broadcast you’d catch it on tv anyway)

You asked about other ways to watch the game.

I plan to be sitting in my seat on the 35 yard line watching the game in person. It’s not that I wanted to pay $100 to watch this preseason game, but if you want season tickets you have to buy them for the exhibition games as well.

wasn't the rams patriots supposed to be televised?

doesn’t anyone care about the no. 1 overall pick? Too bad we don’t have brett favre on the other side to garner attention. Everything is Tebow this Tebow that. Does anyone realize he might not start a game for over a year and a half?!

Keith Null won't accept my friend requests.

Who cares

if Tebow or Brett Favre are dominating the story lines this offseason. Doesn’t that mean Bradford can go under the radar and not have to deal with media pressure?? I think it’s a good thing, media attention won’t make Bradford a better player, so who cares??

The TV listings on my cable box say that the game will be on live on KTVI.

I’m in Saint Louis.
