Saffold Signed

Good news, Saffold has signed for the Rams!

Bradford will follow shortly!

"The Rams announced Wednesday that they have signed offensive lineman Rodger Saffold, the first pick in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Saffold received a four-year, $6.3 million contract with $3.9 million guaranteed and another $250,000 in hard-to-reach incentives (Pro Bowl/Rookie of the Year), a league source told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora."

reading the article i’ve linked to from nfl.com…

it seems the intention is to play Bradford from day one

with Schurmer saying about Bradford:
“His challenge is to be ready to play Day 1. If that works out, great. If it takes a little bit longer, so be it. But I’m anticipating he’s going to build on what he did this spring.”

Bradford to Onobun!

Man...

If I made Offensive Rookie of the Year as an OT I would want more than $250,000 :) That’s not gonna incentivise him. It should be more like…make rookie of the year and you get a $2 million bonus. Anyway, I’m just messing around but I’m glad he’s signed and in camp. One more to go….
