I have to say, this is Kobe-like.

I love it. Every year. Add something to your game. He is in Manning’s shoes from 10 or so years ago, the hope to revive a franchise.

And props to Mr. Manning for taking the time to teach this punk rookie a thing or two (I’m using “punk” affectionately).

I’ll activate my own optimism. Why not become the first rookie QB to start 10+ games and win the SuperBowl?

He’s only gonna have one chance at achieving that. Again, uber optimism, but if we don’t go into the season thinking we have a chance at the SuperBowl, what the hell is the point?
