I'm ready to go into our season with the safeties we have.
That's Jerry Jones on the Cowboys lack of interest in OJ Atogwe. Hmm, cross another team off the list.

Great news!
Jerry Jones, had he been willing, would have dished out the $$$. That means in my opinion the Rams have a fighting chance at matching any contract offers.
The name's Rams, St. Louis Rams.
The Eagles are not interested in free agent S O.J. Atogwe, a source tells beat writer Jeff McLane.
Losing Marlin Jackson is a blow to the Eagles, but expectations were tempered for him anyway thanks to his knee surgeries. They are comfortable with rookie Nate Allen, Quintin Demps and possibly Macho Harris competing for the free safety gig.
The 49ers are not expected to pursue free agent S O.J. Atogwe. A source told Comcast SportsNet Bay Area that the club has "no interest" in Mike Singletary’s potential future son-in-law. The Niners are deep at safety with Taylor Mays and Reggie Smith behind projected starters Dashon Goldson and Michael Lewis. Cornerback Nate Clements can also play some safety.
Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald says that free agent O.J. Atogwe signing with the Dolphins is a long shot. "We like what we’ve seen from our safeties so far," a team source told Darlington when asked about Atogwe. That’s a tip of the cap to Chris Clemons, whose offseason dedication has endeared him to the coaching staff.
Owner Jerry Jones all but ruled out the possibility of the Cowboys pursuing free agent O.J. Atogwe.
“I’m ready to go into our season with the safeties we have,” said Jones. In addition to Dallas, Philadelphia and San Francisco are no longer considered possible suitors for Atogwe. The Dolphins are also not thought to have interest.

Someone is going to pay safety Oshiomogho Atogwe now that he has become an unrestricted free agent. Will it be the Lions?
They have an open spot at safety next to Louis Delmas, their second-round pick last year, and have been trying to add playmakers on defense all off-season.
Atogwe is a playmaker. The Windsor native, who grew up a Lions fan and turns 29 on June 23, intercepted 19 passes and forced 14 fumbles in five seasons with the Rams.
