If healthy

If the depth chart looks like this and is HEALTHY, I like the improvement the team made from last year. Other than QB and TE I think the Rams have made solid improvements, and QB could change if Bradford comes instead of Feely and makes an impact on the team. Carpenter, Robinson, and Diggs all represent considerable improvements at their positions if healthy. Although DT will still be a weak spot barring an effort much greater than what is expected out of Scott and crew, but this could be a team that goes for potentially six wins this year and more improvement on the way.

But then again, this is all dependent on health, something that was scratched out of the Rams dictionary a few years ago…

I agree

Six wins could happen if everyone stayed healthy all season. We could maybe afford a minor injury here or there, but there’s not a lot of wiggle room in terms of injuries for us.

What about...

I think Hank Fraley (C/G) and Fred Robbins (DT) are pretty much locks to at least make the roster if not break the starting lineup.

+1

We are exceptionally thin at OT. No way in hell do I want Allen III to take over that LT spot. Very scary after his performances last year.

I'm thinking..

Lewis, Onubon, Foster, Miller, and Young will be scout teamin’ it this year.

This is definitely a work in progress

We’ve got some seriously important preseason games this year in terms of sorting out these kinds of debates

You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.

Within the next few weeks..

We will start seeing the cuts in order to get our draft picks signed. How many veterens are cut before the final 80 for training camp may let us get a feel for the direction of the rookies. If they do not feel a veteren is going to make the team, they might cut him prior to the training camp so he can hook up with another team.
I also noticed you left off our “blockers” (Karney & Bajema) that were signed last year to 3 year deals. You really think they will get rid of protection for SB?

Pretty good

Other than the lack of Fraley and Robbins. When I did this a few days ago, I thought about Lewis making the team, but decided we could probably keep him on the practice squad safely. Also, Null has experience is he should ever have to play which probably gives him an advantage at this point. DeMaundray Woolridge is another guy I like but I thought we might go with someone who is less of a goal line back. I think he will also be on the practice squad. I agree with the TEs and DEs. WRs you have a 5th receiver very unlikely. I think we’ll carry five or even six since we have so many players worth keeping at the position.

i think CJ ah you

will be higher on the depth chart, spags is big on making people work for their spot, and i dont see 6th and 7th rounders overtaking him. thats bigger then you think because i would rather have him spelling the starters then these guys who i wont think will be ready. i also think quincy bulter will make the team, if only as a special teamer.

He will most likely be in the DT rotation anyway

That is where he got most of his snaps last year.

O-Line

I like the list overall. There are a few things on your O-line depth chart though that I wanted to point out.
-Roger Allen is a OG (I think maybe you’re thinking about Eric Young, but personally I doubt he makes the roster.
-Phil Trautwein is not on the list as the 3rd or 4th OT, nor is Ryan McKee.
-Goldberg doesn’t play OC. The backup there will undoubtedly be Hank Fraley. He actually has a chance at the starting RG spot as well if Greco doesn’t show well during camp.

I can't imagine they will carry four QBs.

My guess is that Lewis ends up on the practice squad. And I agree Trautwein needs to be there as a reserve OT rather than Allen.

WR battle

is going to be fun to watch.. Amendola and Burton left off the list… but can’t disagree as much as I love Amendola
