Random Ramsdom: 6/14/2010
- Brian Westbrook has broken his silence. He wants to play on a winning team. So you can count the Rams out, unless some shocking developments occur. Tevin T. Broner looks at this exact thing in his fanpost.
- Apparently, the Rams defense is so much better from last year that it's a "night and day" comparison. At least that is how Ron Bartell would put it. Hopefully Bartell can make some strides of his own.
- It is that time again: Ramsherd looks at Week 3 of the 2009 season. Another game, another loss.
- Wondering how those multi-million dollar franchise QB's spend the summer? Look no more!
- If the Lions players think they can reach the playoffs next year with Scott Linehan on the coaching staff, imagine what the Rams must be thinking...

I root and wear my Rams gear proudly in winer country.
I have no idea how much we will improve, but I’m going down with the ship if I need to. I don’t expect a winning season any time soon. But it’s coming. Watch out NFC West, eventually the Rams will arrive.

Brian Westbrook Wants to Play on a Winning Team.
Here’s the deal Brian… winning teams don’t need you, hence, they’re already winning. Here are your options…
A.) Join the sinking ship recently refereed to as Josh McDaniel’s Denver Broncos.
2.) Be the 5th string running back in the Washington “Fighting Hellfish” Redskins backfield.
D.) Have a legit chance to back up Steven Jackson.
IV.) Wait until mid-season when some starter gets hurt and GM’s start shopping in the free agent market.
I mean, you’re almost to the peak of your prime, have no injury issues, and the league is short on running backs. I’m sure you have luxury of being picky.
+1

Actually he has had some injury issues as of late..

AH.. been a long day
Re-read… I now see the sarcasm spewing it’s ugly, yet commical, head. Right on the money as well I might add!

To recap:
He’s nearing the end of his career (or at it), has injury issues, and the league has tons of RB’s and not much of a need…
AND he wants to go to a winning team and get paid a hefty sum of money.
Funny, Marshall Faulk was in his prime and came to a losing team and helped turn us into a winning team without bitching and whining and moaning.
A real leader steps up to the plate and says “Listen.. I’m here… let’s kick some ass!”
Not “WELL.. you know, I want to come to a team already winning so really my contributions won’t have an affect on the team either way… let me sign, PAY me, and give me a ring so I can retire”
No thanks Brian.. I really do like you, but honestly, I’d rather not pay you your one last “payday” with similar results of stone hands McMichael.
Sorry, this fired me up for some reason.
Be a man, come help a team and make some money too! Nothing against you wanting a payday but c’mon
