Do not upset Steve Spagnuolo

The St. Louis Rams wrapped up hot day of OTAs this afternoon...and head coach Steve Spagnuolo did not have his usual glowing report of the effort. The PD reports one fired up coach who didn't players taking the opportunity to set themselves apart.

Highlights from the day include a beautifully threaded pass from Sam Bradford to Donnie Avery. Hopefully, we'll be seeing lots more of those very soon.

The team also made some cuts, including former Minnesota LB Simoni Lawrence, who I thought was one of the team's more intriguing undrafted pickups. I guess that's why I'm not a GM.

Lots more photos from today's activity when you click on the powerful image above.

Its good to see spags show some fire

I like the guy, I really do but he seemed too soft on his players his first year. Like when incog got his second unnecessary roughness penalty in the same game I would have lost it on him but instead it looked like incog was yelling at spags. I hate to see that fendi had some glaring drops. Ive been closely monitoring his progress because I think he will either be great or crap. Its cool to see bradford and jackson side by side

Kevin Payne blew coverage

because he was thinking about his bowling average.

Just playing.

Disappointing.

I was sure that with slug Barron and headcase Incognito gone plus the arrival of Sammy Bradford, these guys would be juiced up to kick some as*.

We'll always have a biggest slacker

Since they cut Lawrence I guess Van must be referring to him. Regardless we’ll always have the worst one on the team, and until we’re not shitty, that worst one will always be under a magnifying glass.

I think Quincy Butler was involved

http://www.stlouisrams.com/multimedia/mediacenter/ . Spags is asked about a conversation with Butler and he says he’ll keep it between him and “Q”.

It looks like Quincy

is facemasking Laurent in that last pic, although the caption says he’s “defending” on the play.
