Take a minute to say a prayer for Steven Jackson

I'm calling on people of faith to take one minute out and pray that Steven Jackson heals without much pain from his back injury and regains his full playing ability. I personally feel bad for Jackson. He's a Super Bowl caliber player that has given the Rams his all on the field. If Jackson had been playing for the Pats, they'd have a couple more Super Bowl trophies. While, I didn't particularly appreciate his holdout a couple years ago, he's more than made up for it over his career. How long has he been the ONLY exciting player on the team? This guy's had to suffer through the dying days of the Martz regime, the never-was Scott Linehan/Jim Haslett regime, and now he's got a 1-15 season under his belt with Spagnuola. Talk about the shaft, remember when Haslett left Jackson in the next-to-last game we won deep in the 4th quarter? It was a blowout of Dallas, and for some reason the coaching wizard felt he still needed Jackson in the game and carrying the ball. Result = thigh injury and four winnable games missed. Then, last year, we let the poor guy constantly get the crap pounded out of him because no one respected our passing game, plus he had no capable backup to spell him. So Steven ends up aging 3 years in one season and suffering an injury that may ruin his career for one lousy win. And, if Jackson can't go come game time, we have no credible replacement for him. That puts an even bigger bullseye on Sam Bradford.
