Notice a defensive heavy first round? Aside from the usual sprinkling of offensive tackles, the first 15 players taken have included seven from that side of the ball. WIll that trend continue at pick #16? Here's Habte E with the Tennessee Titans first round pick.
The Tennessee Titans select Joe Haden, CB, Florida.
The pick was pretty simple since morgan was off the board. The titans biggest need is DE but i don't think JPP or Dunlap are worth picking here. Nick Harper is 35, hurt all the time, and when he actually did play he was consistently burned in coverage. Haden and Finnegan would instantly create the best corner tandem in the NFL and possibly lead to more coverage sacks.
VanRam: I guess the Titans aren't content with Tye Hill as a starting CB?

He looked pretty good on the practice field and got almost all of the repetitions with the first team defense. That said and he’d be the first to tell you this if you asked him, he knows he needs to prove himself when the lights come on. This is an important training camp and season for him. Steve Spagnuolo has pulled a lot out of some defensive backs with potential in the past, though. Look what he did for Corey Webster in New York last season."
