RB Brian Westbrook taking a physical with the Rams

The St. Louis Rams may still select a running back in the draft, but they're going to do their due diligence on former Eagles running back Brian Westbrook

Rams OC Pat Shurmur is more than familiar with Westbrook, who was teh centerpiece of the Philly offense...when he was healthy.

The physical will be important. Westrbook, who turns 31 this fall, played just 8 games last year.

If his knee is even remotely healthy

I love the idea of westbrook spelling jackson. Could potentially be a great pickup.

For the right price

I would absolutely thrilled to get Westbrook to back up Steven Jackson. As long as he doesn’t want some overly expensive, drawn out deal (which he shouldn’t), this would be an awesome pick up by the Rams, especially after missing out on Willie Parker.

All the reports here in Philly were that there was no chance he’d pass a physical. Chronic knee and ankle injuries. Especially the knee. I think the concussion stuff will be ok…

I wish him the best though, I’d like to see him get a last shot. One of my favorite players of all time and I’d hate to see his career end because of injuries.

Great Fit

He missed time to concussions last year, if those are better he’d be an amazing backup for Steven Jackson.

There’s still another vet out there the Rams should be looking at: Terrell Owens. He finally kept his mouth shut in Buffalo last year and I’d welcome him in a heartbeat if he could do the same here.

BTH

Who is Hall Davis – DE Louisiana Lafyette???

Not even on draft board information….

This is a draft of who is that!

He pancaked both offensive tackles of LSU when they played. Pretty much a bull rusher with very little finesse. Personally I think he could do ok if they move him to the inside.

After badly dropping the ball on getting S-Jax some help with the draft i hope that Westbrook can pass the test and then sign up with us big time

If practice makes perfect....
Yet nobodies perfect.....
Then why practice ???
