Bold ?

Doing what everybody expects/wants you to do is bold ? I’d say it’s quite the opposite.

Seriously, Bernie needs a dictionary.

Exactly

Anyhow, a#1 pick is either an immediate impact player or a project – this is why year after yar, The Lambs are never included in post-season discussions less the Warner-Faulk miracle and THAT IS EXACTLY THE FACT JACK!

Get off the bus guses.

Bold - Huh?

Bernie can be annoying as he is good. My hope is that the Rams trade with Cleveland; even if they have to settle for less. They should happily accept picks #7, #38, #71 and a 2011 #1 or a #2 and #3. PLEASE Take it! The savings in money alone makes it worth it. Plus this draft is so deep they could easily find 3-4 great starters and a few good backups. All we have is SJax and Lauranitis and you wonder why they only won one game last year. Maybe we could even slide back from #7 into the early teens. My first pick would be Iupati. He is a beast and 10 year probowler. Grab Ducasse and Colt McCoy in the 2nd. Our QBs need time to throw and SJax need more help to open up holes for him so he doesn’t have to run over the whole D to get his yards. Trade back and don’t look back. Let Cleveland fork out the dough then have to watch as they medivac Bradford off the field after getting run over by the Ravens or Steelers.

Yeah, that deal with Cleveland would be really good.

However, the story this morning is that Cleveland has backed away and the only team talking trade with the Rams is Washington.

Bernie began his story by saying the Rams have been taking linemen for the last three years, and that they were all “safe” picks. He feels taking Suh would be another “safe” pick. On the other hand, taking a QB wouldn’t be as “safe”, thus he calls it “bold”. He may be reaching in his adjectives, but he wanted to make a point. Forget being safe, go for the gusto.

in 10 hours, I’m buying a Bradford jersey. I’m a believer.

by MathB on Apr 22, 2010 8:56 AM CDT reply actions

me too

I love the kid. everyone talks. he’s so fragile. did anyone see that flipping hit he took in the OK state game. He got right back up after a huge hit and kept going. Our o-line seems to be improving and bradford has a good pocket mobility. I say its a win freaking win. Bradford jersey today!!

I support Sam Bradford

But I think Suh and Mccoy is another viable strategy

Bradford

glad to see guys are warming up to him

by Jae-So on Apr 22, 2010 9:11 AM CDT reply actions

The only way I would trade down...

is if the Browns would trade with the Lions and then trade with us… We need one of the top 2 picks so we can guarantee either Bradford or Suh. We need impact players now!!

I would be happy with Bradford but could you imagine the scenario above? Getting Suh, McCoy and an additional round 2 pick would be incredible!!

I don’t think I have ever been this nervous about an NFL draft! Exciting!!! Go Rams!!!

by abiRam on Apr 22, 2010 9:52 AM CDT reply actions

I've thought about that scenario also.

Just dropping down to #2 so we can get Suh and still get an extra pick or an established player would be a good deal.
