Torry Holt to the Patriots
Not a big surprise, we know they already had plenty of tape on Holt. Oh! Zing!

Carriker just got traded to Washington
If the Bulls don’t make the playoffs I won’t need to watch basketball, its on to basketball.

He's gone to the dark side....
There is no hope for him now.
To be, or not to be, — that is the question: — Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer — The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, — Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, — And by opposing end them?

If it's a 5th rounder
Possibly flip Carriker for Campbell?
Of all sad words of tongue or pen; the saddest are these: 'It might have been!'
I would like to see that happen
… so we can draft Suh!
Er... this was stupid. Ignore this, everybody!

could this mean we go DT first pick?
"SJAX" - The extra strength cleaner that fights off that Stubborn, Stingy Defense
It could help lower the price of Bradford.
So it doesn’t seem like we’re pressed to sign a QB ASAP. The Carriker trade has more of a “Hanesworth out off DC” move than “Rams pick DT at No. 1”.
Campbell?
Like mysterui said, we should get Campbell in return. Getting a 5th rounder for Carriker is not much in my opinion. Perhaps, Haynesworth is somehow part of a bigger deal?
with a clause...?
could it be that the Skins made a deal with the Rams and agreed not to announce that the Rams got Campbell in return until we make our first pick? Just throwing a thought out there…
Looks like we swapped
our 163 spot 5th round pick and Adam C for the skins 135 spot 5th round pick. http://www.macsfootballblog.com/2010/04/rams-trade-dt-adam-carriker-to-redskins.html

Not that bad considering
the redskins are taking a injury prone player who didn’t live up to his expectations and paying his remaining contract dollars for us. plus we moved up a couple spots decent move the only thing that sucks about it is that Carriker was a god in madden haha.
How much value does Carriker actually have??
I know moving up in the 5th round doesn’t seem like much, but really, if you were another team and you were looking at Carriker, how much would you offer for him? Personally I don’t think I would be offering much more than that. What did Carriker do during his NFL tenure to warrant more respect/value than 28 spots in the 5th round?? Lets see, he has been hurt and non productive, where the hell do we get off thinking he is worth anything more than that. If he wasn’t a former 1st round pick I don’t think we could have gotten that much value for him.
With that being said, I hope you guys are right. I would love to see us get anything else in addition to that 5th round pick, because that means we came out waaaaaay on top in this deal. If Campbell is involved, even better. I think that will give us great insight to who we draft on Thursday…..bring on Suh baby!! I would be thrilled with that scenerio, and so should all Rams fans.
I think it's a done deal
I don’t know why anyone thinks there’s more to it than already reported. What is telling is howmany 5th round picks are considered legal tender these days and how few 4th rounders. I think it speaks to the depth of the talent in this draft. The drop-off apparently is right about round 4. This pick if used right may be a helluva lot better than 163.
Well i stand corrected
We swapped 7th rounders too. I would have refused to do that. It couldn’t have been a deal breaker.
I will be watching the Pats this year as well as the Rams
Was kind of hopping we would get Torry back this year but i can see why he would want to sign with the Patriots
