Random Ramsdom: 4/19/2010
- Things just went from bad to worse for Marc Bulger. It appears the Steelers (his hometown team) have zero interest in him, even with Big "College Party" Ben on thin ice with the commish' and the law. Of course, I'm not too sure who is worse...the law, or the commissioner.
- Mike Florio takes a closer look at the Rams decision not to negotiate before Thursday. I wouldn't want to swallow a 50 million dollar contract either. Adam Schefter looks at this too, and the part where "Bradford is hesitant to complete a deal," scares me.
- The Demoff-inator goes on about the same thing. I suppose no news is big news?
- On the inside, stlcardsfan4 gives a look at some CB's in the draft. Wishful thinking, I know, but it sure would be nice to find another Bradley Fletcher. Minus the injuries, of course.

i wouldn't read too much into Adam Schefter
he seems to have been the leading dissenter that Bradford won’t sign with us for some reason….
"You’ve got to play every game like it’s your last because it’s definitely survive-and-advance or don’t survive and school," Tiller said.
thanks ramrod
Scheffler is a huge douche. He knows nothing. That being said, im getting butterflies already. How weird is it to have to watch the draft at work?
Demoff sounds like they have a pretty good handle on the "contract before the draft" issue.
They’ve started contract talks with what, 6 or 7 players now? Even Okung and Berry. I get the impression they’re confident and relaxed about the whole thing.
The blind stares of a million pairs of eyes, lookin hard but won't realize, that they'll never see the C. And when I'm rollin by, you can't see me!
All these years waiting for another #1 pick
and the Rams are considering blowing it on a qb – this is why the Rams are perrenial douche bags as an organization that can’t consistently win season after season. I dream of the 1970’s!
Did you read
this?
Lots of reasons why not taking Bradford would make sense for this particular team and coach. And if any of that is really in the minds of the Rams FO, then maybe in order to get iut done they would not ask Holmgren to mortgage the ranch…just enough to get it done.

I loved one of the responses to the Florio story.
The guy said the Redskins would send us their first round pick (#4), plus McNabb and Haynesworth for Bradford. I would take that deal in a heartbeat. Too bad it won’t happen in real life, but only is someone’s fevered imagination.
Pittsburgh not interested in Bulger?
That’s interesting considering how well he has played behind bad offensive lines in the past.

It's more about Pit's roster than Bulger
They have a solid vet backup who makes less than Bulger.
They have a young QB they think has the talent to develop.
They have a starter entrenched at the top of the depth chart.
What would they do with a relatively expensive mid-tier starter in Bulger?
