I'd love to try and spare everyone from JaMarcus Russel's ugly mug, or the fact that he makes more being his lazy self then any of us could ever dream of, but I just don't think it's going to happen (3k, be quick about it, let's get to Jake Long as quick as possible...)
That being said, it's draft week. One last ditch effort for the Rams to try and trade that 70 million dollar poker chip. Here are today's links:
- Things just went from bad to worse for Marc Bulger. It appears the Steelers (his hometown team) have zero interest in him, even with Big "College Party" Ben on thin ice with the commish' and the law. Of course, I'm not too sure who is worse...the law, or the commissioner.
- Mike Florio takes a closer look at the Rams decision not to negotiate before Thursday. I wouldn't want to swallow a 50 million dollar contract either. Adam Schefter looks at this too, and the part where "Bradford is hesitant to complete a deal," scares me.
- The Demoff-inator goes on about the same thing. I suppose no news is big news?
- On the inside, stlcardsfan4 gives a look at some CB's in the draft. Wishful thinking, I know, but it sure would be nice to find another Bradley Fletcher. Minus the injuries, of course.
It's about to be one crazy week in the world of football. Welcome to the first prime-time-no-salary-cap NFL Draft.
Have a good Monday!
