2 Weeks away from the 2010 NFL draft and I had an idea of what if based on the performances of players drafted last season, who would not only the Rams select, but also the rest of the league? So I will give it a crack at re-doing the 2009 NFL Draft

1. Detroit Lions Select: Matthew Stafford, QB Georgia 

I think that if the Lions had to do it all over again, I think that they would still select Matthew Stafford. Detroit's biggest mistake last year was selecting TE Brandon Pettigrew instead of Michael Oher. Not saying that Pettigrew is a bust or anything but just think that if you have 2 picks n the 1st round and you draft a QB 1st overall then at 20 you take best OT available. Detroit hopes that happens this time around

2. St. Louis Rams Select: Michael Oher, OT Ole Miss

The Rams select Michael Oher and protect Marc Bulger's "Blind Side", All Pun Intended! The Rams Pass on Mark Sanchez again, however they get a guy who inspires the nation with his great story of and anchors the Offensive Line for years to come. Michael Oher held his own against Jared Allen and that's saying alot for a rookie. Jason Smith is in a position where if his head injury from last year takes him out again, then he can be in a bust category before we know it. (Hope that's not going to happen though for Smith)

3. Kansas City Chiefs Select: Jason Smith

The Chiefs Need to keep Matt Cassell off of his butt and therefore select Jason Smith . Last year they reached for Tyson Jackson and in on passing on an OT Matt Cassell was one of the most sacked QBs in the league.

4. Seattle Seahawks Select: Aaron Curry

I think Seattle is pretty happy with Aaron Curry on their roster and would not choose another player if they could do it over again

5. Cleveland Browns Select: Mark Sanchez

There's no way IMHO that the Browns make the trade with the Jets. I think the Browns look at the Jets' offer and make them sweat it out to the last seconds of the clock before denying their trade proposal and select Mark Sanchez.

6. Cincinnati Bengals Select: Eugene Monroe

Andre Smith holding out and then getting injured shortly after his return was just as ugly as him doing the Scouting Combine without a shirt.

7. Oakland Raiders select: Percy Harvin

 DHB??? Really Oakland??? You have Crabtree, Harvin, and Darius Heyward Bey available and you take the lesser of the 3? SO what if DHB had a great 40 at the combine! Percy Harvin IMO would have been a better fir in the "Speedy" type personnel that Al Davis loves. But I guess on the Raiders behalf, Harvin did have some off field issues, (Don't think it matters with the Raiders) and Crabtree had his injury going into the draft.

8. Jacksonville Jaguars Select: Andre Smith

I know it sounded like I was bashing Andre Smith earlier but I guess he's not all that bad. I guess he had some help in making Cedric Benson look like a pro bowler (Did Benson make Pro Bowl?). MJD takes advantage of Smith being on the line and helps Jax win a few more games.

9. Green Bay Packers select: Phil Loadholt

Bottom line is that Aaron Rodgers needs better protection!

This time around the 49ers draft Crabs and pay him his money before camp opens.

11. Buffalo Bills Select: Jeremy Maclin 

T.O's is 1 and done with the Bills, and I think they take Maclin in a do over.

I think Denver loves Moreno being there again at 12

I think that the Defending super bowl champions would select Laurinaitis and move him outside to to form a sick LB tandem with Vilma and JL

15. Houston Texans select: Chris Wells (Original Pick:Brian Cushing)

Brian Cushing is a stud but the Texans really need a running game to help spread their offense. Chris Wells helps the Texans open things up for Shaub, Daniels, and AJ

The Jets settle for Josh Freeman after their attempt to move up fails

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers select: B.J Raji (Original pick, The eagles selected Jeremy Maclin at 19)

21. Philadelphia Eagles select: Malcolm Jenkins (Browns Select Alex Mack)

22. Minnesota Vikings select: Hakeem Nicks (Percy Harvin)

23. Baltimore Ravens select: Rey Mauluaga (Micahel Oher)

24. Atlanta Falcons select: Aaron Maybin (Peria Jerry)

25. Miami Dolphins select: Vontae Davis (Same)

26. Green Bay Packers select: Evander Hood (Clay Matthews)

27. Indianapolis Colts select: Donald Brown (Same)
