The Denver Broncos won’t negotiate a trade for Marshall. Either a team is prepared to pay a first-rounder or move along. Denver will not take calls on Marshall; it’s either an offer sheet or he plays in Denver next season.
Though that obviously puts the Rams out of contention for Marshall (if they ever were contending), it makes me smile because it means Seattle might be slightly less likely to make the deal. They do, however, have two first round picks, so it's not out of the question.

Would an offer sheet work with a #1 pick in 2011?
Not sure if that would be acceptable but if so, I would take that chance. As I said in a previous post, I would draft Bradford and with Jackson and Marshall, we would have a competitive offense again. I rather take a known talent and trade a first rounder pick than throw millions at a WR that hasn’t played a single series in an NFL game. Just a thought.
A daring move like that by the Rams would send a signal to the rest of the NFL.
