Very disappointing. I understand he probably won't be ready to play
until the second half of the season, but he is a player and we could have used him. I just don’t see much more out there that could really help the Rams as a starter.
Eric Crouch
he went from qb to Wr then to safety in nfl Europe. I hear he’s playing some defensive tackle now he’s a monster run stuffer so forget Suh.
Wow...
Feels like someone is trying to crash our excitement about the Rams even before the season starts…
Let me know anytime what's to be excited about...?
No QB, no D-Line, SJax a year older, J. Smith with potential concussion issues, Atogwe likely to leave or be disgruntled with his compensation, Barron still with the team, Shurmur still the OC, no TE, mediocre wide receivers AND both the Niners and Sea Hawks have two 1st round draft picks. Oh happy day!
We retained everyone important
And we have another draft class to add to it. So that means improvement.
I didn't say we retained a lot of good players
And I didn’t say we were going to be good. I said we should improve.
But Atogwe, Brown, Smith, Lauranitus, Fletcher, Karney, Brown, Jones, Amendola (KR), Avery, and Long to name a few, if not all.
Ed4Life!
I need to come up with a nickname for you, Ed. Groucho, or Grinch, or something like that.
You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.

Oh, Ed, you made me laugh!
I didn’t think that would ever happen.
Laurniaitis is only #4 in the league in tackles, I don't know why you'd want him
Certainly not with his career only expected to last another 10 years or so
You're really stretching it now Coach. I've never said anything bad about Lauranitis. We stumbled across a good player there. Too bad he doesn't have much company...
"lol. who do we have besides SJax that anybody would really want...? "
I guess it depends on what the meaning of “is” is.
The House of Spears reigns supreme
That was exactly the quote I was replying to. "Who do we have that anybody would want"
A Rookie natural MLB who is # 4 in the NFL in solo tackles….anybody would want.
You bottom question is sort of changing the properties of the question, but it doesn’t matter if he’s more valuable to us, that just says we don’t have another quality Mike…which doesn’t detract from his value at all.
I think there are other teams that would jump at the chance to get JL. He has a really bright future. Its ok to acknowledge that, Ed.
Danny Amendola was (I think) #6 among rookie WR's in Receptions
An undrafted player developing right along with the league’s high pick WRs….that’s a reason to optomistic about his further development.
