Rams to face three playoff teams in the preseason
The NFL has announced the 2010 preseason schedule, and the St. Louis Rams got a tough draw.
Three of the four teams the Rams will face this year made the playoffs last year. The preseason kicks off with a rematch against the Minnesota Vikings at the Ed Jones Dome. The Vikings throttled the Rams 38-10 in week five last season, though the Rams did hold Adrian Peterson to just 63 yards...and two touchdowns.
The Rams go on the road for the next two weeks of the preseason, with games against the Browns and Patriots, before coming home to end the preseason against the Ravens.
The Rams went 3-1 during the preseason last year, defeating the Jets, Bengals and Chiefs...just in case you needed a reminder of exactly how well it predicts regular season performance.

I won't miss the Chiefs...
good to see them mix it up a bit…didn’t sound like Kansas City was too jazzed about playing us, anyway.
the advantage
if there is any to this schedule. is that we are playing top-tier teams that are coached by top-tier coached. I know the results of the game doesn’t matter, but it should provide a chance for Spags and co to learn from the best. I’m sure HC’s talk before and after these kind of games. Bellichek, Holmgren/Mangini, etc. We should be able to learn something from each of these games.
Because getting to the Superbowl didn't get him any experience
But the preseason sure will!
/sarcasm
We did real well against the other teams 3rd string.
Our 3rd string can beat your 3rd string! Whoopee! Now we need to continue building the team so we might actually win a few with our 1st string against theirs. This is an important year for the draft.
I like this
have always liked using good teams as measuring sticks during the preseason, at every level of football. I think it’s good prep.
The blind stares of a million pairs of eyes, lookin hard but won't realize, that they'll never see the C. And when I'm rollin by, you can't see me!
