Goodbye Gado
Sorry, Samkon Gado fans. The St. Louis Rams dumped the running back who reminded you that the Rams needed a better back behind Steven Jackson. They will not offer Gado a RFA tender, making him a free agent.
That could mean a) that they think Kenneth Darby and Chris Ogbonnaya are good enough to get another look, b) that the team has a plan to deal with the need behind Steven Jackson. Maybe both.
They also must be planning on bringing Chris Massey back or finding another long snapper other than Ryan Neill. Ruvell Martin, one of the carousel of receivers that came through Rams Park last year, is also not getting a RFA offer.

Far from "sucks".
Because Gado was closer to “sucks” than he was to “good” or “good enough”.
There are a hundred running backs who can give you what Gado provided and plenty that are much better.

Uh…are we talking about the same Gado? Are there multiple Gados? Are we talking about Gado-Gado?
You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.

This isn't a surprise to me
The front office need to clear space on the roster for a potential draft/FA addition at RB. I can see the Rams bringing 4 RB’s to training camp and I’m expecting to see Darby and Ogbonnaya battle it out for a roster spot with one of them being cut after training camp
A back up
running back is a must. Theirs no secret who our main offensive weapon is so we really have to take care of steven and when his back’s hurting give him a week off. But how can you when Samkons running around like a chicken without its head? Most of the guys on the market like LT,Jones, and sproles are going to demand starting rolls and a pretty penny as well. Darby has some potential in my mind and i havent payed attention to chris enough to really have an opinion on him. Billy D work your magic and bring in some unknown talent
Draft a RB?
I think we should draft a RB with a view to him being the main backup. I don’t know who or when to take one but I’ve heard the names Best, Spiller and Tate mentioned before. Does anyone know if any of these guys could potentially be suitable and what rounds they project into?

I said long ago Gado should take the train...
Now pick up buddies Darby, Obog and Barron to go with you.
