More annoying Kiper or Schefter?
Each passing year I have found that ESPN has become increasingly more difficult to watch. The talking heads have become all the same voice and very politically correct. During the football season Ditka and Irvan bring some relief, but in these months before the Draft and OTA's I cant take another minute of Kiper or Schefter

(Kiper and McShay probably talking about the rams taking Sanchez last year)
I dont think anyone that watches NFL network misses Schefter(I dont) and I think Kiper is just plain ridiculous. We have computers now its not impressive that Kiper knows every NCAA football player and their 40 time anymore. Schefter reports nfl news like its going to actually happen that minute but in reality nothing he reports ever happens. The one item I can remember Schefter being spot on with is the Charlie Whitehurst trade. sweet
Futhermore, the only teams ESPN covers are the NFC east, Patriots and the Ochocincos. however, none of these teams have made major moves,(Antonio Bryant and matt jones dont count), this offseason so ESPN has been forced to make news up rather than report factual items. A nice piece would be on how the attendence was for offseason workouts are or the methods of training different teams are using.
You could have included the Rams as a reported team till the draft, until Devaney came out and disproved the Atogwe/Mcnabb trade. ESPN was floating any rumor out about the Rams trading for an Eagle QB and it could be assumed a possibility due to the Rams front office silence. Now that Devaney has spoken I am going to say ESPN sticks with the draft in regards to the Rams unless we sign a quality player(Diggs probably will fly under the ESPN radar if signed).
My one last thought is if Schefter keeps up his current trend of reporting will his head grow exponentually until it has reached Kiper-esk proportion?
-Enjoy

Although I don't know schefter he comes off as a duche. Kiper is alright
Per fas et nefas - Latin translation="By Any Means Necessary"
Kiper knows what he's talking about
he called Stafford getting drafted #1 when he was coming out of high school
I dont question kiper on that stuff, shefter is the one i question
Kiper is generally correct about most players translating to the nfl. He just bugs me now thats all

As long as we're dead last, all these guys will be annoying.
And it’s not just these two. It’s Peter King. Heck, make it the whole SI staff, and of course, John Clayton. Once we win some games they’ll all come around.
John Clayton
Can NOT stand that man. And it bugs me even more that he is in the sports writers hall of fame. HOF?? Give me a break. Ruins credibility for the hall, IMHO

The thing I find most annoying about Kiper, etc,
is when they talk about a player they always say what position he is and what college he’s from. I get it why you would say it with some players. But really, when they talk about Bradford, do they always have to say “I like Sam Bradford the quarterback out of Oklahoma.” Everyone already knows what position he is and what college he’s from.
Only five players have averaged 25 and 10 in their playoff careers. One of them, Dirk Nowitzki.
This is tough
Kiper is a good draft analyst, but his style can grate. Schefter has great sources and a feel for momentum in the legaue, but is a huge goofball. Tough call
At least you didn’t throw out McShay.
You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.

Missing off the list of choices: little red x where the picture should be
that’s annoying too, lol
Kiper and Shefter is a tough call. They both make me want to gag, but I do enjoy Kiper’s commentary on draft day about 5th, 6th, and 7th round guys that I’ve never heard of before. Last year he let it out that his company was essentially just him and his wife, and they do prep him with more info about more players that you might think possible, every time the draft rolls around. I find him valuable in the late rounds when I don’t now S about the guys they’re picking. But stil….he is a little full of himself.

ok i hate mcshay, does that count?
but while we are at it… i saw some funny mel kiper quotes in retrospect…. im not sure of the general opinion, but it may sway u to say, well he was wrong here so he could be here too… anyway the quotes
“They could go 0-16”(commenting on the 2001 Patriots) - Patriots beat the Rams 20-17 in Super Bowl XXXVI"
“Ryan Leaf’s “attitude” (which had rubbed teammates and coaches the wrong way in college) would be an asset in the NFL and give him a mental advantage over Peyton Manning"
“Akili Smith will be a great NFL player and would finally provide the Cincinnati Bengals with the passer they’d lacked since Boomer Esiason”
“Give the Lions credit for going away from their biggest needs to take receiver Mike Williams” & “I’ll see you at his Hall of Fame induction”(commenting on WR Mike Williams)"
“That’s why [they] keep picking number two every year(commenting on the Colts picking Marshall Faulk)”
Ok well, to reason some of those, Faulk is small, Leaf’s attitude probably could translate (Clausen this year, Rivers)
But the Pats going 0-16… sure they were’t Super Bowl, but 0-16 really? and Mike Williams in the HOF was a huge swing and a miss
"You’ve got to play every game like it’s your last because it’s definitely survive-and-advance or don’t survive and school," Tiller said.
I remember him being so sure on Mike Williams
that he was debating with the other guys on espn about how good he was.
