Chiefs put the Governor's Cup on the line
Big changes loom to the St. Louis Rams preseason schedule, and it involves something very near and dear to the hearts of Missouri fans, the Governor's Cup. Yeah, huge, right?
The boys over at Arrowhead Pride link to report that says the Chiefs are trying to finagle it so that their final preseason game is against the Packers at Arrowhead Stadium in KC. So among other things in 2010, we may not know whether the Chiefs or the Rams have the better third stringers.
Of course, who needs the Gov's Cup in the preseason since the Rams will play the Chiefs at the Ed Jones Dome during the regular season this year.

I think the 12,000 on hand last year enjoyed it thoroughly.
I heard the place went nuts on Quincy Butler’s pick.

They shouldn't play in the preseason this year.....
They should wait till the regular season game to put the cup on the line…then finally we can play a meaningful game in December.
Why is patience a virtue and procrastination a sin...I mean whats wrong with patiently procrastionating?
The coveted Governor's Cup!
That will for sure give some meaning to the December game between the Rams and Chiefs. Hah!
