...it's how you use it
With rumors circulating that the St. Louis Rams will select a quarterback, despite no direct conversations with team officials, with the first overall pick, some of the Combine rituals are worth paying attention to. Yes, it's come to judging the weigh-in for players, since no quarterbacks seem to be throwing any footballs this week at the Combine.
Here are the results from the QB weigh-in and measurement. Remember, it's not the size that matters, it's how you use it.
Sam Bradford - 6' 4", 236 lbs
At least we know he's been working out during his time off, bulking up by a good ten pounds or so from his official OU stats.
Jimmy Clausen - 6' 2.5", 222lbs
This is good news for Clausen after whispers that he'd only measure 6'1" when the NFL got a hold of him.
Colt McCoy came in short at 6' 1 1/8", assuring even more questions about whether or not he's anything more than a spread QB. The hulking man-child that is Tim Tebow measured 6' 2 3/4", 236 lbs.
Rams GM Billy Devaney spoke to the media at 9:15 a.m. Central time. Stay tuned for non-details.

Are they measuring hair?
Looks like Clausen’s investment in spiky hair products paid off well, even if it’s not “”http://www.axehaircrisisrelief.org/100girls/" >girl-approved" hair.

stupid links
Link. I wonder what the approval rating for Clausen’s pick would be?

will he get a more "square" hair cut
to convince teams of his maturity?

Link...um..
Shot #2 has a box with girls in skirts sitting on it, and the camera is right about up-skirt level. That was kinda fun to have playing while I typed away, “at work” on a Friday.

But turn the sound off, unless you like hearing some chick rip mercilessly on every guy she sees
Her own hair looks like she just crawled outta bed

Interesting question. Depends on the forum, I bet.
Walter has a round up of mocks, that shows most (or many) think Clausen will be the pick. Maybe seeing it "in print" long enough will soften the blow.
Clausen is the concensus best QB that played under center in this year’s draft. Some say the best period. I would be very happy with the pick and even happier if they gave him a nice shiny new TE.
I think the pic above shows his post-game hat hair.
Hey, softening the blow is so true!
I am preparing for the reality that the Rams will bungle the first selection overall, even if by a trade down. C’mon, this is the Rams we are talking about.
Anyhow, if it is just going to have to be a qb for the “braintrust” – who knows, reads as if new owner said he is willing to spend the dough on FA or drafts. Well see.
So, if qb:
Then, Rams should at least be selecting from the range of 4-7 (maybe 9) with extra draft picks this year.
Otherwise, select Suh or McCoy
or; depending on the RFA (Otogwe, Barron), more picks will be had this year – who knows on this too right now.
My speculation has been only for “as is” conditions.
While we are talking about measurements
How about jimmy Clausen mesured in with the SMALLEST HANDS of all the QB’s. Is that a measurable that you would care about for your QB.
Not unless you're dating him
He hasn’t had any ball security or pass control issues.
