Vick unlikely to be dealt before preseason starts
Maybe they're not getting the kind of offers they want right now and think they can get more when teams are desperate. Then again, maybe it's just misdirection. If it is true, I don't think the Rams can wait until August to identify their solution at QB, not if they expect to take the next step in the rebuilding process.

I don't understand
What all the Vick love is about, Sure there are minimal potential QB’s available out there, but its not 2004 anymore.
Maybe if the Rams were setting up to run a wildcat offense, it would make sense. But it appears we’re going with the traditional west coast offense, so where would vick fit in?
The real Question is
Was Vick all that good to begin with, even back in 2005 and 2006? He had a low completion percentage then and there were still questions about whether he could be a true NFL QB. How does nearly 2 years behind bars and holding a clipboard in Philly make him a more viable solution at QB?

I wouldnt be mad
if we got vick but defiantly at the right price. He would defiantly help out Steven Jackson I was watching on NFL network and they had a great segment of what Michel vick does to a defense how he draws people in the box to get off the running back. And I mean we didn’t do so hot with are other quarterbacks last year so i would like to see Vick Bulger and maybe Null.
The segment on the NFL network
was based on what Vick did in 2006 and before. This is going to be 2010. He is four years older and has been out of football for a long time. I think you can discount most of the effect their one analyst was trying to claim for Vick. It wasn’t convincing for the results back then, let alone what would happen four years later. We could talk about how much John Elway would help the Rams and Jackson’s rush stats too, and show great statistics about Elway to support it, but it would be meaningless because of the time lapse and increase in age. I felt it was just another analyst trying to come up with something to justify his own jub.
good point
that’s a great way to put it. But i mean after seeing the abuse our quarterbacks took last year I’m becoming really open to players i would have crossed off my list 3 years ago.
