Sign A.P and Holt?
Adrian Peterson(LB from the Giants) and Torry Holt have been recently cut from their teams. Do the Rams resign Holt if he's cheap? And would Spags give A.P a shot in STL? We all know that Torry was one of the most coveted WR in the blue and gold, so if his price tag was low and/or teams were hesitant to pay for him, would it make sense to bring him back?
As for Peterson, he does history with Spags in NY, but would his legal issues cause us to decline an offer? He is old-ish but he would be a decent mentor to JL and any other LBS we get...Except when he's with someone like Plaxico

Pierce no
injury prone, kinda old, and wouldnt come cheap and even if he did it’d be hard to find a place for him. too slow to be and outside linebacker and we have James in the middle so he’d play behind him and at the end of the day it would be a waste of money we could use on someone else. Now as for Holt im still a big Holt fan but I think our front office made up thier mind letting him go and torry as well. If he decides to play another year in the Nfl don’t be surprised if the Baltimore Ravens pick him up.
i hope Torry goes to Chicago
it would be nice to see him team up with Martz again
i don’t know about you guys, but i will keep an eye the bears next year
i hope Martz and Cutler tear it up
Holt
This would be a dream come true for me but i do not think he will come back to a rebuilding team. He would like to get one last championship before he retires. One possible destination is Dallas.

He really wanted to play for Carolina last year
since that’s where he’s from, but Peppers ate up all their cap room. They may have more money available this year and might like to give Torry a shot. Anything is possible.
No on pierce
The Animal Jr played his rookie year with no significant mentor to guide him, why would he need a mentor now in his second year? He’s a VERY smart young man and his pure instinct for the game is just part of him. I think that all the development that he will make will be due to his own abilities and Spags guiding him along.
As for Holt, I would like to see him back to mentor our young WR’s and also to see him retire in the blue and gold.

Now add another name to the group
since Joey Porter was released by Miami and is a free agent. Should we be interested in him, or is he on the downhill slide?
without looking anything up
I’d have to say no to Porter.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.
I keep seeing this
Porter does not fit our system. In addition to that he is a pass rushing specialist OLB for a 3-4. I say NO. Not to mention he is a shitty teammate. He refuses to come out, he won’t talk to the coach, GM, and owner if he doesn’t get his way.
I'm not.

Holt and Petersen
Tori Holt belongs in a RAMS Uniform and needs to retire a RAM. He has all the skills and is a great mentor not to mention he will be a first rouind selection to the HOF!
Petersen, we don’t need anymore Criminals, in fact we need to send Little packing, its about time for another DUI!

Holt said he wanted to leave here.
He wasn’t happy that he wasn’t the focus of the offense any more. He had a real bad attitude by the end of that season. Why would anyone think he would want to come back to the Rams?
If we want to sign Bruce and Holt to one day contracts so they can retire as Rams, great. But to think Holt would fit in with the team and really contribute is just not reality. He burned his bridges when he left.
