Let's look at cornerbacks...
The positions of need for the St Louis Rams going into this years draft are quarterback, backup running back, maybe wide receiver, offensive line, defensive end, outside linebacker and cornerback. I have put out Fan Posts already about all the other positions. Now it's time to look at the cornerbacks. The drafting of Tye Hill in 2006 has come back and kicked us in the rear. Ron Bartell has developed into a very good corner and the revolving door on the other side of him needs to be closed.

Missing one
What about Brandon Ghee in the second or third ?
Chris Cook...
seems to really fit the Spags mold of a DB and I really doubt he lasts until the 7th. I expect him to go somewhere in the 4-5 range and do think he is in play for the Rams.
Akwasi Owusu-Ansah
I like this small school guy. I think Spags can mold him into a great CB. Great size and speed combination. Also not on the list. Could be had in rounds 3-4.

!["He [Tye Hill] has pretty much recovered from his knee injury. He had a cyst on his knee he had removed and moved around much better after that. He looked pretty good on the practice field and got almost all of the repetitions with the first team defense. That said and he’d be the first to tell you this if you asked him, he knows he needs to prove himself when the lights come on. This is an important training camp and season for him. Steve Spagnuolo has pulled a lot out of some defensive backs with potential in the past, though. Look what he did for Corey Webster in New York last season."
