With the current discontent about QB/DT posts and the increasingly tense draft discussions, I think it would be a good idea if we all share our experiences about the one thing we have in common - Rams fandom - and what you do when that comes under fire.
Unfortunately, it is becoming harder and harder for me to defend my fanaticism as this franchise continues to finish among the worst in the NFL. This is compounded by the fact that I live in SoCal and it would be easy to turn my back on the Rams - a franchise that turned its back on Anaheim - and adopt a new favorite team much like the rest of the SoCal population already has.
Nevertheless, I have remained loyal to the franchise and receive constant flack from family, friends, and coworkers in return. For this past year, I just smiled and let their comments go unanswered, but this next year, I would like to have some snappier retorts and a stronger knowledge of Rams apologetics. So I ask you:
What do you do to stay positive and loyal during what is possibly the worst stretch in the history of the Rams? That is to say, how do you defend your Rams fandom?
