jeez

kid looks like a porn star

You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.

I wouldn't keep Robinson

But I would keep Gibson. He makes mental mistakes, which I hope can be ironed out.

But Gilyard…..

Sam Bradford drops back, sees Laurent Robinson in the open, and he completes the pass for a gain of 28! Oh- Wait, looks like a holding penalty is going to call this one back...(Oh wait; Barron's gone, ignore that last sentence).

should we be looking for RB 1st round? OG 2nd round?

The only thing comparable to a Rams win is a 49er loss!

i honestly dont believe we have that luxury yet

to go after depth as oppose to filling major holes like the ones we have at OLB and WR

by Buck Nasty87 on Dec 4, 2010 5:36 PM CST up reply actions

I don't think the Rams will draft a WR

I wouldn’t be surprised to see them stand pat with what they have with possible adding a FA WR. But as far as having the “luxury” I would argue that this team need to complete the offense. To get us to the point Warner had us in where we could and would score with every possession (almost) is where we want to be. That would allow us to play exciting competitive football.

the guy can't even learn his routes

I mean, I understand, playbooks are big. But it’s been over half a year. I could memorize the routes quicker then that.

there's def an issue.

Is it just talent or lack of focus, I’m curious.

by RamsFan7 on Dec 4, 2010 5:31 PM CST up reply actions

I mean, he is never going to produce when he can't learn the playbook

He won’t even get on the field.

by Eric Nagel on Dec 4, 2010 5:37 PM CST up reply actions

he's not even been very good at returning

which is more about talent less about playbook…

by RamsFan7 on Dec 4, 2010 5:41 PM CST up reply actions

Remember

WRs Dont make immediate impacts, we may have been spoiled with Dez Bryant. Mike Williams, Stevie Johnsons…………He may not be an impact guy his rookie year but he does have upside

HOF WR Chris Carter didn’t have his first 1000 yard season till his 7th season
Derrick Mason 5th season

yes theres a problem but don’t give up on the guy

by Smiff620 on Dec 4, 2010 5:38 PM CST up reply actions

Wasn't Randy Moss the last rookie to have over 1000 yards in his rookie season?

It doesn’t happen all the time, that’s for sure.

by Eric Nagel on Dec 4, 2010 5:41 PM CST up reply actions

Umm Dunno thats a good question

Agreed it doesnt happen often
Mason had 14 catches 186yrds 16gms
CC had 5 catches 84yrds 9gms

i just dont wanna see fans give up on him already, but i think all of us are curious why he isnt playing more

by Smiff620 on Dec 4, 2010 5:46 PM CST up reply actions

So what is that

3 in the last…12 years?

by Eric Nagel on Dec 5, 2010 3:42 AM CST up reply actions

I think it would be better to get a FA wide receiver

I mean, we’ve gotten lucky with the low risk people Devaney has brought in (DX, Amendola, Clayton).

It’s not exactly a given that a receiver can come in from college and produce at #1 levels.

by Eric Nagel on Dec 4, 2010 5:38 PM CST up reply actions

I understand we need wr, backup rb

but if we dont focus on DE, DT and G in the draft and/or FA we’re screwed

Pooch punts should be illegal inside an opponents 38 yard line.

There are some good options in the free agency for those positions

we should be able to find someone.

The theme of tomorrow's game should be consistency

Offense, Defense, ST.

I’d be furious if the Rams lost, but if they played consistently well, I could live with it. I hope.

Didn't they have a contract ironed out with Vincent Jackson?

They just couldn’t agree with the Chargers, right?

Yeah it was a contract ironed out.

Hopefully he comes here next year, but I can see him going to the Redskins two. :/
