So, I'm watching Mike and Mike right now and I'm really starting to get upset by the way ESPN treats this division/team. Now I understand, we haven't exactly done anything that was particularly impressive in, but it's in no way an excuse to outright disrespect us, over and over and over. Back to Mike and Mike, so Tim Hasselbeck, Derrick Brooks, and Doug Gottlieb were talking about the NFC Playoff picture and teams that may surprise. They went on to say "Forget the NFC West, who ever wins that division, we all know they aren't going to do anything, let's not even consider them." I mean really? Is that really necessary? Also, I remember watching ESPN First Take last week, and they compared the NFC West to "An industrial sized steaming hot can of garbage." it's just really getting out of hand. It's one thing to say we're not a great team, or we don't deserve to go to the playoffs and such, but they don't have to completely disrespect us week in and week out like this. It's just not right.

With that said....

I'm very very confident in this team, (with some worries here and there). Maybe I'm just a delusional Rams fan (a fan that predicted us to go 10-6) but I certainly believe we have a legitimate shot of beating just about any team in the playoffs with the exception of the Bears and Packers. I say BRING ON THE SAINTS! BRING ON THE FALCONS! Who ever ESPN believes is the best team in the NFC, then I want us to play them. This team can hang with anyone, and CAN defeat anyone and I believe we're going to surprise some people when we eliminate the Saints in the Wildcard. Of course, this is all out the window if we let the Seahogs defeat us. Come on guys, it's January and our Rams will be playing some meaningful football for the first time since 2004, and it feels great to see this regular season close out with a Sunday night game. Sorry if you all think this belongs in a personal blog or somewhere else, but it was either write this or throw my TV out the window
