Merry Christmas Rams fans and what a weekend it was. It was a huge sports weekend for me with the Heat coming to town to play against my Lakers on Christmas and then Niner week with playoff implications on Sunday. Of course my Lakers laid a huge egg in their loss to Lebron and Co. so I had to depend on my Rams to bring me up. BOY DID THEY! Not only did they end the Niners season but they got another coached fired as Mike Singletary was shown the door after we beat them. I'm gonna miss Mike. He made me laugh. Don't let the door hit you in the ass Mike!
Now we got a SUNDAY NIGHT Primetime match up with the SeaChickens for all the marbles. Bernie Miklasz has concerns about the time slot change but I think it's all good. Nothing wrong with getting a jump start on the playoff environment.
I guess it can get pretty loud in Qwest Field with the Seahawks fans known as the 12 man. But I like what Brian Billick said on NFL Network today. He's more worried about the other 11 men!
Matt Hasselbeck got hurt in the Tampa Bay loss on Sunday but no one touched him. It's been that kind of season for Seattle I guess. Now Charlie Whitehurst is slated to be the starter against us on Sunday. I can only envision our D-Line busting through that leaky Seattle O-Line and making it a rough day for Charlie all day.
Hard to believe we mired through a 1-15 season last year and now we are one win away from the playoffs! I love Ron Bartell's outlook on this link.
It's nice to know that I can go to church and take the family out for a nice leisurely breakfast and come home at 5:00 for the BIG game on TV this coming Sunday. Life my friends, is good!
