Week 13 Thursday night football open thread

The Houston Texans are taking on the Eagles in Philadelphia tonight in another Thursday night game that you can only see if you have the NFL Network...looks like PBS news shows for me then.

I'm sure there are all kinds of interesting plotlines happening in tonight's game. My hat's off to Mike Vick. Anyone still rather the Rams have signed him and drafted Suh? Come on...

Philly is favored by anywhere from 7 to 9 points.

Let's see

First off, it depends on how congested your network is. Think of the connection between your house and the internet as a pipe. Everyone around you is normally hooked up to that same pipe, so if you have a ton of people using it, downloading movies, music, whatever, using all the space, you’re going to get shafted. This is why ISP’s HATE bandwidth hogs.

Secondly, it depends on how you set up your home network. Cat5 (wired) is always going to be faster then wireless.

If you have a congested pipe, and you’re signed up for 5Mbps download speed, you could easily see somewhere in the range of 700kbps at a peak time, which is only .7Mbps

Sam Bradford drops back, sees Laurent Robinson in the open, and he completes the pass for a gain of 28! Oh- Wait, looks like a holding penalty is going to call this one back...(Oh wait; Barron's gone, ignore that last sentence).
