Rams-Chiefs: Now taking your questions for Turf Show Radio
Hi, I'm Troy McClure, and you may recognize this post from earlier today. What happened? I updated it, dropped in the TSR audio player and bumped it up so we can keep all of your questions/comments in one place. Now that's what I call getting things done. Watch out world, Van is back, and this time, he's organized.
As per usual, we'll keep this going as an open thread during the show, so keep the QnA coming and be sure to follow up if you hear crazy stuff.
Dropping questions is good, calling in is oh so much better. Holler at us on the air at (818) 495-6910.
Joining me on the show today is VTRamsFan, man, myth, legend. We'll talk a little more about his most recent breakdown, predictions for the KC game and whatever else pops up in the thread. 3k is on leave this week, but we'll keep his seat warm while he's at the mall picking out a new Christmas sweater for the official TST holiday card.
Yo, Turf Show Radio is on the air today, 6 p.m. ET.
Have questions about the St. Louis Rams as they make a playoff push? Drop all your questions and comments into the thread here. We'll have a second thread for the live show itself, but what a great way to start the day by getting a head start on your QnA needs.
A note on the audio player below, until today's show goes live, it's going to spit out past episodes. If you've got time to kill, it's the perfect distraction.

Interior line play.
Jason Brown arrived as a highly touted, durable earth mover yet I seem to read constantly about the interior lines ineffectiveness and lack of forward push in running situations. Is the guard play on either side of him that bad or is he declining quicker than expected?
I think that the line
and by extension the individual lineman always play better if they have good people around them. Jacob Bell has been if anything slightly above average, and Goldberg…well, he’s just a backup quality player. Tack on the fact that he’s more of a pass blocker anyway, things get pretty tough for the guys around him.
Number 8 is great
Game plan
It seems to me that last week against the Saints, the defense played okay but never really shook Brees with their blitzes. Offensive gameplan was boring and ineffective. What do you think the coordinators need to be doing in tomorrows game to give us an edge?
No helmet to helmet hits this weekend
Aim for the body . It figures, the one time this year we have all DB’s available we face the best rushing team in the NFL. How will the Rams stop the Chiefs from bouncing the run outside? Will they blitz the LB’s inside and have the DE’s control? That will not work against McCluster. Lot of safety outside blitz’s maybe?
Nope
I don’t think Greco is going to set foot on the field for the rest of the season.
Number 8 is great
Chiefs
I’ve watched them alot this year and they seem to be a streaky team. You never can tell what team you get quater to quarter. thier secondary will give up big plays will the Rams open up the passing game to take advantage? Do you think Denario will have have more thrown to him ?
Any Jamaal Charles 'clone' types out their
We can Draft (third or fourth round) free-agent signing next year
I want to know why all the praise for Brandon Gibson. He has started 11 of 13 games and only has 492 yards and 2 td’s to show for it. I have yet to see major improvement or a game breaking play out of him. I think you have to take things in perspective, he is currently ranked 75th in the NFL in yards and 86th in TD’s. That means that most teams in the NFL have two or more receivers ranked higher than he is. I know that it is hard to find bright spots for the Rams sometimes but, Brandon Gibson?! Let’s be more realistic, WR is the number one hole on our team by far and away.
Ignorance is bliss and way too many people are happy.
absolutely No.1 WR is a gap on the roster
I think Gibson’s played much better in his last 4 or 5 games though, finally starting to live up to the talent with a little help from an accurate QB. Gibson looks like he’ll be a reliable possession guy who can help the move the chains, not glamorous but important.

Gibson as a #1 reciever? LOL
We got possession guys. Their names are Amendolo,Gibson, Gilyard(draft pick). Clayton is our best WR..What is he ? I like Sam but jesh do not try to kill him Please….!!
Then maybe you should watch the games
This offense isn’t exactly the Saints. Scoring touchdowns, marching down the field for scores isn’t exactly a regular occurrence.
The reason why we are praising Gibson is the fact that he’s definitely stepped up and improved his game, not to mention the mental maturity you’ve seen from him. He’s definitely been working on his weak areas. Whether we get a new receiver or not, he’s for sure gonna be a good role player on this team moving forward.
Number 8 is great
Hey lets get the Chief Fans involved ??
They will not get out of the AFC West and Chargers are are dead after round two. Governors cup(Is that a real thing?)
gonna be a tuff game!
One thing about the chiefs they have more skill players slash playmakers than we do. But we have the franchise QB and home field advantage. So we will see what happens 2mmrw!
