Pictures to prove it: Rams fumble away chance for a two-game lead in the division

The most troubling thing about the St. Louis Rams' 13-31 loss to the New Orleans Saints (beside the score being a palindrome) is the way they lost. Costly turnovers and questionable decisions, it was deja vu all over again, the ghost of Rams teams past, if you want to put it in a seasonal context (and they say I'm a humbug). 

The players were saying the right things after the game. Here's Chris Long:

And Brandon Gibson with a dose of optimism:

Shot ourselves in the foot today. We didn't play like we normally do..,good thing is we might c them again.

One thing about this Rams team that is different from previous squads is their ability to focus, to turn it around following an ugly loss like this. They'll have to do that this week if they want to fend off a 49ers team making a run at the NFC West title, something the Rams could have prevented with a week 10 win in San Francisco.
