Turf Show Radio (Dec. 11th) open thread (UPDATED)
(UPDATE: the show is now posted. I'll re-pimp it next week)

Can't wait for tomorrow's clash with the Saints? Me either. But at least there's Turf Show Radio to help us battle our cravings.
We go live in 30 minutes. Hit us up at the apparently permanent TSR call-in number: (818) 495-6910, or keep the conversation going in this thread. We try to get the comments on the air, but the best way to get your question or topic addressed (and to get your response) is to call us. Make it happen.

The only thing comparable to a Rams win is a 49er loss!

haha
we’ve been yakking Saints so far. Interesting stuff on being able to focus when you’re good and all the outside crap you have to deal with when you suck.
You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.

Start Greco over Goldberg?
We are going to need that extra push on the line. Could be the difference in our ability to run with results.

Uh Oh not as bad a loss
as Bajema and Fell’s hands have come to life as of late
Pooch punts should be illegal inside an opponents 38 yard line.
How much will fatigue play into tomorrow's games
Pooch punts should be illegal inside an opponents 38 yard line.
I would agree if they had lost those two
but honestly… the wins give them confidence and momentum… and I sometimes think it is easier for them to zone in a focus when they are away… their families and “real” life aren’t around to distract them in the 24 hours before the game… the only people close to them they have around are their teammates… i think that is a good thing before big games.
Hull was a heartbreaking loss
I think he could have got some decent experience yes Van.
Speaking of which, DAMN we’ve got some talented players on IR all over the place… Hull, Avery, Clayton, Uh Oh… it’s crazy to think what we’ll do next year as a team, and to see who will be on the team.
Pooch punts should be illegal inside an opponents 38 yard line.
That's potentially why Pisa had a LOT of tackles
.. many have argued it was due to poor defensive line play.

loved him.... he was my favorite of the "old rams"
but then again…. that is kind of like saying someone is the best looking of all the carnival workers…lol
3k
Not to mention PD’s…he’s had 8 this year, second most in his career (12 in 07 season)
Number 8 is great
LJ will be great when he gets a good linebacker besides him.

LJ?
you mean JL?

Hey we could pick him up in the end of 1st round.

Has to be a good reason why Goldberg is starting.

It reminds me of the Bradley Fletcher article
It’s all about how he’s such a stand-up guy, always watches film, tries hard and does all that.
Then it says the coaching staff doesn’t like how he “practiced for a week” so they decided to switch him for Dockery.
Then back to him being a stand-up guy.
Number 8 is great
Our coaching staff thinks to much
But I think it’s because of our lack of talent.

was that what happened that week
I couldn’t figure out why the heck he wasn’t playing…. dockery was such an embarrassment that day too…. bet that made the coaches realize they might want to make there punishment less severe next time… like running laps…lol
What do you guys think the score of the game is going to be?

33- 17 Stl wins

i really cant decide
I kind of have a feeling we will either get completely blown out….. or we will blow them out (only to let them come back and get close to us in the 4th) and end in with a close win
defensive line in the second round?
how long do you think Robbins and Hall will last?
Number 8 is great
As i've said, we NEED to address DE early in the draft
as well as G
Pooch punts should be illegal inside an opponents 38 yard line.
That's what it boils down to
I think we CAN address most of them, however the question is, who will be grabbed where? Draft? FA?
Pooch punts should be illegal inside an opponents 38 yard line.
ok we all agree that their are more holes than draft spots
what I mean by this is we have alot of really good depth players all around so now we are looking for real true blue high end starters but if you had to pick first three rounds what would you go with…. what 3 holes would you say are the MOST important of all 6ish WR, G, DE, OLB, RB, CB
Speaking JL
do we need to get a top tier type OLB to upgrade the defense? How well will someone that may not be “the it guy” play next to JL as opposed to a regular schmuck?
Number 8 is great
We need to trade Bradford
LOL j/k of course
Pooch punts should be illegal inside an opponents 38 yard line.
If we were to play "Patriot" ball
Next year we’d trade Bartell and Jackson
Pooch punts should be illegal inside an opponents 38 yard line.
trading SJ... not a good idea
he’s the face of the franchise, much like albert pujols is to the baseball cardinals. i’m sure we could get something for him, but i’d rather draft a backup RB and stick to that plan before trading SJ.
hey Mo: theriot at 2B, boog at SS.
KEEP BRENDAN RYAN.
SIGN BENGIE MOLINA.
you could potentially loose the biggest influence in the locker room doing that
I agree with you… trade SJ and put in a rookie… you will (mark my words) see a completely different chemistry in the locker room…. not saying that it would positively be bad chemistry…. but you would be getting rid of the one guy that all the rest of the guys (even the most talented) reveer.
I'd rather ram_rod play then Barron.

Anyone else see on Yahoo home page in the bottom right corner, a video that looks like it is bashing the Rams and the NFC West.
yeah it says, Should a losing team make the playoffs?, with a picture of Donnie Jones and Josh Brown.
