Turf Show Radio returns to Saturdays...this Saturday
With the Denver win in the Rams' back pocket, Sunday's game in Arizona is a big, huge, gargantuan, Brobdingnagian opportunity to take the reins in the NFC West. To that effect, Van and I will take to the airwaves to discuss all things Ramsish on Turf Show Radio this Saturday at 6pm ET.
If you are not a bad person, you will call us at (818) 495-6910 and fill the hour with the TST faithful. Episodes with callers from Jersey or Texas are technically 8.4% more enjoyable than those without. And those with callers from Cali are 114% more dude-ish and bro-like.
So holler at us and talk some Rams football this Saturday. And vote for this week's FTOTWFTSR to help steer us in the right direction.

Who you callin Pasta e fagioli
I voted the free agent thingy. We’re already doing what we need to do to lure free agents better than we have, by giving reason for people to notice us on both side of the ball. What we need to do now is learn how to land them when we getta fish on.
You!

You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.

Rams 2011-2012
I might be going a little ahead of myself by talking about next season but lets just pretend Rams made Wild Card and lost in the first round (WON"T HAPPEN!) and the season is over. With Donnie Avery Back, Mark Clayton back (if he gets signed), and Denario Alexander fully healthy, and leading receiver Danny Amendola, do we really need to pick up a receiver in the upcoming draft or look for Free Agency? I personally think we need to pick up some guys to help our Pass Coverage.
Rushing Defense:
Tied for 2nd in rushing TD’s allowed
13th in rushing yards allowed
Passing Defense:
20th Passing yards allowed
21th Passing TD’s allowed
With a strong additions to our Secondary or LineBacker Corps, with benefit more for the team than a Wide Reciever if the WR Corps can stay healthy.

I don't wanna think too much past the season
Rams are tied leading the division, and have a legit shot at the playoffs. So please talk about the Cardinals game, and perhaps cover some injuries sustained by the Rams (e.g. Uh-Oh…..how I miss you already).
I met Joe Halahuni's parents.....in Alaska. Jealous?
we'll always
recap the last game, preview the next one and touch on personnel issues. That’s a given, serg!

Richard Marshall and Evan Mathis
sign and deliver please BD.
Sam Bradford drops back, sees Laurent Robinson in the open, and he completes the pass for a gain of 28! Oh- Wait, looks like a holding penalty is going to call this one back...(Oh wait; Barron's gone, ignore that last sentence).
Question for Turf Radio
First. we have all had our ideas on how to improve the offense and last week in Denver we seemed to have gotten our wish when the Rams, down 10-0, decided to run the no-huddle. It produced.
Now, we are all talking about ways to improve our running game, including short yardage and goal-line situations. We keep hearing, “Why don’t we have a few plays where we pitch it to SJ on the outside?”..and “Why aren’t we using Grecko more in the run game?”
My question for discussion is in regards to our “Jumbo” package (.ie 1rst and goal on the 2 yard line)
It seems one thing we should look at (?) is utilizing the size and strength of Rolando Foster by bringing him in and lining him up as an extra TE. Let him get next to one of our rookie OT’s and create more of a “road grade”
Comments ???
