Rams WR Mardy Gilyard chugs Pepsi, talks playbook
I know what you're thinking, is St. Louis Rams' rookie wide receiver Mardy Gilyard an iPhone or an Android guy? Does he prefer the Cardinals or the Reds when it comes to baseball? And what about that whole playbook thing?
Aaron Hooks from SBN St. Louis recently had the chance to talk to the Rams fourth round pick. Let's hear more from Mardy.

Great candid interview
Although the fact that he’s so daunted by the playbook size is unsettling.
I like Mardy and I hope next season he can really start to pull it together.
you know, the playbook guy
The only thing comparable to a Rams win is a 49er loss!

Im sorry I like the guy
But I just haven’t seen anything that makes me think he is going to be something in the NFL. He doesn’t have top end speed, he’s not really that tall, and he just doesn’t do anything better than any of our other receivers. Personally I would take Gibson over him anyday.
Sam Bradford
which is perfectly normal and obvious
since Gibson has more experience and their talent when they were drafted is basically a wash (4th-5th round)

where they got drafted is irrelevant
producing and improvement is what I am looking for. Gibson continues to show that the guy can be a producer in the NFL. Good size, quickness and ability to get open makes him one of the WR’s I actually like seeing each week along with Amendola and hopefully Alexander.

Disappointed
I’m disappointed in Gilyard. I was really excited for him to turn out to be a play maker. To be fair tho, it’s only his first season. Some guys take long to develop.
I, too, would pick Gibson over Gilyard at this time.
i think the coaches are doing him wrong
its said that he is learning 4 positions and thats why he is getting confuse on plays so i blame the coaches rite now for his failures doing games
