TD Gibson
We need more game thread luck!
You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.
gibyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy tdddddddddddddddddddd
Pooch punts should be illegal inside an opponents 38 yard line.
Couldn't ask for a better start
Let’s get another stop!
Bradford has a game going on
13/19, 2 TDs. Fantasy sleeper for the rest of the season?

Gibson
Great play calling to start the 2nd half. Nothing vanilla about this drive.
I completely disagree
It was entirely vanilla. We just executed. Solid run blocking for Jackson, great play by Gibson

Yeah
People have trouble distinguishing between play calling and execution. Vanilla play calling can succeed wildly if its executed properly.
brilliant move on the line
perfect throw.

If Rams hold on
Statement win that could be good for rest of season, even on the road now.
If a loss, it will be debilitating and more calls for better playmakers will be casted. Plus, if coaches don’t adjust, that criticism will not go away either.
i don't think a loss would be the end of the world
the falcons are a superbowl calibre team.

The Rams need points.
Gonna be hard to get...Ryan is playing really well.
Threaded that last pass to Jenkins nicely.
This team needs to step up their play
Look at Atlanta, methodically ripping us open up the middle. Can we try a little bit of the same?

If they kick the extra point it would be 16 points, which is still only 2 scores.
By going for two, it’s 3 scores. Even if they fail, it’s still 2 scores which is the same as if they did the extra point.
I’m not saying a kickoff return and recovering onsides is likely (the only way the Rams could get 2 TDs quickly). But it is possible
lay them out.
sam throw a wayward ball so gibson can lay their dbs the fuck out.

The falcons are just a much better team, so the loss doesn't really bother me
Their O-line and Matt Ryan’s decision making totally neutralized our blitzing, our biggest strength as a team. Not surprised we lost.
They just have good depth everywhere, something you can’t say about the rams.

We got a look at what we need to look like in 2 years. Can we cut it in half by week 1 2011?
You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.
Lot closer than the final score indicated
Good team you’ve got there. Best of luck the reason of the season.

thanks dude.
scoreline was unfair.
why the hell do you go for 2?
that’s classless regardless of playing by numbers…
Bradford to Onobun!
I kind of agree
The only defense I can offer is that our special teams has been so horrible that they may have been legitimately worried that you guys would take one to the house and recover one. I wish I was exaggerating.

yeah
it’s hardly a defense though…
you guys are clearly the best in the NFC (no matter what radio raheem says)
and your offense just negated our D.
your O line was amazing…
still, our d gave up on turners run, i’m not hating on his td, but the 2 points leaves a sour taste.
Bradford to Onobun!
I don't blame you
It was odd to me, too. You guys will get your chance to avenge it in the next couple of years…I’m worried about re-matches.

We weren't good
overmatched this game. Everything came easy for the Falcons.

But thanks anyway
We’re still inexperienced

You'll get there
Bradford is one hell of a building block.

Yup agree
It’s unbelievable that he’s playing well without good WRs

Guys dont be dissapointed
we played hard with the #1 team in the NFC, yeah we maybe had a chance too win, but things take time to develop, and just wait till next season, we will be great. And we also still have shot at playoffs! Take good things away from this game

There is nothing good about a loss.
Not ever. There are losses that are bad, and there are losses that are worse. But there is never any reason to take anything good away from a loss.
The Falcons showed just how far from playoff contention the Rams are. It's one thing to have mathematical life in a bad division, it's another to be a real playoff team.
True
And we need to improve our turf. Too many players get injured

I think the main reason we lost this game
is because we couldn’t pressure Matt Ryan
by Smoooth Criminal on Nov 21, 2010 6:14 PM CST reply actions
100% correct.
We couldn’t get pressure rushing four, Ryan torched our blitzes, and either we didn’t stunt much, or it was totally ineffective when we did. We just had to hope they eventually made a mistake, and they never did.
sucks ass that we lost.
I really wish we woulda got the last one in just to see what happened. But just thank god we got the samchise. If we had bulger we probably woulda scored maybe a fg. Sam is great. Saying that, please GIVE THE BALL TO JACKSON! jesus christ. We have a top thre rb in the league n we give him 10-12 carries a game? Wtf!

o line was no match for their defense.
we’ve got a passing O Line and are transitioning from run heavy to pass protection O Line.
gonna start using sjax sparingly, running vs dbs and prolonging his shelf life.
Bradford to Onobun!
Jackson just isn't that good...
I mean, he’s good, but he’s a N-S runner, and because the other teams know this, they stack 8 guys in the box. He’s got no where to run, because he’s hit almost immediately. Sure, he gains yards, but when you are hit before the line of scrimmage, it’s never going to be enough.
They need a change of pace back to keep defenses honest.
Good game Rams fans
I have the utmost respect for your team, I can still see you finishing 8-8 this season and maybe taking the West. Scratch that, probably taking the west. :P
aye, put the falcons in a fight
not a bad game. we are on the move
