We richly deserved today's loss to the 49ers
What else can be said? Another game in the bag given away in the 4th quarter. SJax stopped on 3rd and 1 when we could've burned up 4th quarter clock. Then we let SF convert a 3rd down and 32 that ultimately ended in 7 points!!! During the final seconds of regulation today's goat, Daniel Fells, dropped the winning TD pass, so we settle for a FG and tie. We win the OT coin toss and get the ball on our own 30 yard line. Three plays, including a sack, and we punt. The 49ers proceed to ring up big chunks on Gore runs into our territory. Then, the game effectively ends on a damning pass interference call on an uncatchable ball that leads to a gimme FG. End result; we still can't win on the road, we let the 49ers back into the NFC West race, we let the Sh*thawks take over 1st place in the division, and next week our 4-5 team hosts the ATLANTA FALCONS. Effing disgusting!
And for the statisticians, I wonder how many teams in NFL history had 3 TD's called back on penalties and managed to still win??? I hate watching games officiated by Ed Hochuli and crew.

technically
the delay of game play never ocurrred so it wasn’t called back. Legit holding calls all over on the 49ers though. The OJ was brutal. Hard game to watch. We are not there yet.
If you love something, set it free. If it doesn't come back, find it and kill it.
the oj call was brutal is what i was trying to say

wow...............
How in hell do you give up a 3rd and 32 or even a 4th and 18 the OJ just gives it to them with the penalty, smh 7-9 at best
I can't recall what happened on the third TD, but they got 10 of the 14 pts on the other two TDs, so it wasn't quite that bad.
But you’re right about a lot of things…why in the hell did we run on that 3rd and 1? And Fells did suck today with the icing on the cake being “the drop”.
I feel your pain, but I still have hope. And everybody remember this: we’re all pissed as hell cause we have HOPE! We know we can be competitive and the most optimistic Rams fan called for us to be 4-12 at best at the beginning of the year. But we have a young team that’s gotta learn to win. And frankly, a bunch of coaches that lose their minds in the last 4-5 minutes of each half. We’re getting there…slowly but surely…we’re getting there…

Pat Shurmur can not win to save his life in the 4th quarter he stinks up the field every game
We could have drafted a WR and we could have got a WR in FA, like T.O. or Moss, but no were all set with D. Amandola his own mother dont even know who he is and thats our bis star WR , not one chance did they take to get us a WR ,this team still sucks bad and they just drafted Bradford and left him on a sinking ship ,nice going Devaney you dick head
What could we have done with a WR like Crabtree????
I think it’s obvious now that he was a better draft pick than Jason Smith last year. Aside from Amendola we have NOTHING but a bunch of screw-ups at receiver. Robinson is once again “the Invisible Man.” All Gibson knows how to do is catch and run backwards. Fells dropped the winning TD pass. Gilyard is an underachiever. When a team double covers Amendola, Sam has no credible receiver but SJax. I sure hope Clayton recovers fully. And I still think Avery and Alexander are lost causes due to perennial injuries.
You can't say say it's obvious that
Crabtree was a better draft pick than Smith, they haven’t even played for 2 years. Way too early to compare them yet, I’d still rather have Smith than Crabtree and his diva attitude.
And I know everyone is upset at Fells for dropping that pass, but don’t forget Bradford overthrew a wide open Amendola for a surefire touchdown earlier in the game.
dont be saying crabtree is a better pick
sure we need a WR but at the time OL was the biggest priority
no one knows how a rookie is

AVERY a lost cause?!?
This is his first major injury, and up until it he has played very well and I only see him improving with Bradford.

i find your posts WAYYY too reactionary and i understand caring and stuff but seriously, no need to hate on an overachieving team like this.
i HATED this loss, but damn, what do you expect?
there were missed opportunities throughout the game, i mean imagine being a 9er and seeing all those missed td’s and not converting ONCE on 3rd down?
they’ve got more to be pissed about, they’re still a losing team, and we are a win from being .500 (although ATL is a bit of an ask lol)
seriously though, the one thiing to be pissed at is the fucking referees. how can you fuck up a call that bad to decide a game?
absolute cunt that ref.
Bradford to Onobun!
reactionary?
he provided a summary of the game (Fact) and then put opinions that were true not reactionary

we still can’t win on the road (0-4…) – he’s not saying it will continue, we DID let Seahawks take over that’s also just a fact, and we do host Atlanta and it was digusting to watch (i would use different words, but they all mean the same…

For the rest of the week until Sunday, I feel like I’m going to be mumbling certain parts of todays game…
“3rd and 32… how could you let them get the first down.”
“4th and 18… how can you let someone be so wide open…”
I think today’s loss has been one of the worst in years.
It's evident to me
that in order for the Rams to beat upper level teams they need to play and coach the “perfect game” due to lack of talent.
Sam Braford excites me A LOT because when I see him play, it’s like he’s squeezing this team for every ounce of production humanly possible…
When he leaves the game i feel like he’s given everything.
We need that from every player, and sometimes THAT isn’t enough.
One more year, maybe two.
"The greatest accomplishment is not in never falling, but in rising again after you fall." - Vince Lombardi
What blows me away
is that a team beat us with 421 yards of total offense without converting a 3rd down. That was an ugly game, and those 4th quarter meltdowns kill me. Who knows tho, our team is so inconsistent a win at home against the falcons is not impossible.
