This game could end up being a shoot out

Both teams seem pretty focused on stopping the run.

We need receivers for that.

John Greco and David Vobora are inactives?

Sam Bradford drops back, sees Laurent Robinson in the open, and he completes the pass for a gain of 28! Oh- Wait, looks like a holding penalty is going to call this one back...(Oh wait; Barron's gone, ignore that last sentence).

That was Dockery

on the missed tackle

You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.

Well, strange opening

Dockery is just not a good enough player for this system. And I don’t know what BFB did, but I hope it was seriously deficient in terms of discipline to warrant handing the 9ers so much yardage in the first half. Kudos to the gameplan offensively. Scoring drive out of the gate, a nice TD drive to Amendola. Like we talked about yesterday on TSR, the run blocking just doesn’t create much. You’re not going to get long Jackson runs without holes, and they’re not there. Losing Saffold makes it that much harder.
But like you said, back to square one. It’s tied up with 30 minutes to go. Time to earn the plaudits.

3) Need to stop stupid mistakes and penalties
4) Not allow the big play and 3 play 70 yd drives

Here's a random interesting question, at least to me.

Steven Jackson is not having too great of a game right now which is why I say this. So instead of finding a back to replace him do we just load up on the passing game and use Jackson in a lesser capacity and later perhaps get a speedy receiving back.

Get a couple of receivers and a Faulk type back to understudy then replace him

But, surely you are not suggesting replaceing SJaz over one less than steller 1/2 a game

SonGohan!

NOO! the NFL caught him.

Sam Bradford drops back, sees Laurent Robinson in the open, and he completes the pass for a gain of 28! Oh- Wait, looks like a holding penalty is going to call this one back...(Oh wait; Barron's gone, ignore that last sentence).

Second half thread up

SonGohan, the search is on…

You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.

49ers should be so much farther ahead

Chris Long is killing me. Not sure I can appreciate his play if his uses his super hall of fame powers against us.
